DBZ: BL - Legendary Warrior [Fandub] (Freeza Only)
I've been constantly trying to re-do Freeza's voice to sound more Nakao-eqse and now I've attempted to take the tips others have given me like try to sound more "sophisticated" or use a Posh accent, while I didn't do the Posh accent at least I don't think I did, I think it sounds better than before when I just straight up used my real voice:

So, this is just for fun to try and get an English Freeza voice/interpretation more like the original (but not exactly the same) as the Original Japanese.
I changed "What is... this?" to "Wait... what the hell?" to make it fit better with mouth flaps and I could see Freeza saying this since he's supposed to be in shock.
Voices:
SSJ4 Furanki: Freeza
Goku: Seán Schemmel (Actual English audio used)
Krillin: Sonny Strait (Actual English audio used)
Hopefully, it's okay at least.
Also, I found music this time, but, I probably could've done a better job mixing it though, but, I'm happy with it for now.

Whoa, that was pretty good. Normally fandubs turn out crap. My only complain is the voice was too deep for Freeza.

I'm going to give some honest constructive criticism.
It's a bit better than your previous attempts, but you still sound a bit flat and unemotional. You didn't sound surprised at all when you said "wait... what the hell?" (and what's with you always adding cussing when there originally wasn't any?) so you need to work on adding emotion to your performance, for it sounds quite uninspired.
I kind of thought the chuckle was a decent attempt at recreating Nakao's but it needs more emotion and range. As it is now, it sounds a bit flat.

I guess, well before I was told it was too generic and high pitched. So, that's why it ended up that deep.Piccolo Daimaoh wrote:Whoa, that was pretty good. Normally fandubs turn out crap. My only complain is the voice was too deep for Freeza.
Thank you, I actually like it when I get honest criticism. I added the Wait... what the hell? Because it originally said "What... is this?" but when watching the mouth movement wasn't 100%. Plus, Freeza could be a character to say hell. Plus, Hell really isn't that bad.Metalwario64 wrote:I'm going to give some honest constructive criticism.

The next Freeza dub, if I try another. I'll try and use your advice.

And now its totally removed from Youtube. I wanted to see it
Oh, you think the Grand Tour is your ally, you merely stepped into the Grand Tour. I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn’t see the Super until I was already a man; by then, it was nothing to me but blinding!

Ah, I will re-add it shortly. My account got removed due to getting 3 copyright infringements. I'm going to re-do a few lines, mainly the ones Metalwario64 brought up, then, I'll re-upload it.Silver Sinspawn wrote:And now its totally removed from Youtube. I wanted to see it
And now I've switched the link on the first post. It's up again.

You do know you can override copyrights. That's pretty good though

Oh, I'm aware, but last time when I went and tried to override that with my first account, I proved evidence how the copyright claim (final one) was total bullshit, they didn't even check into it. So, I'm not gonna even try with my second one (this one was a legit claim this time), so I moved on to account no. 3 (current one).Silver Sinspawn wrote:You do know you can override copyrights. Thank you. Glad you seemed to like it.
