Lyrics for "Chiisa na Senshi"?
Is anyone aware for a source that has lyrics for this song? I have loved this theme for many years, but love alone doesn't make a Lemmy capable to understand the words. ^_^

Are we talking romanized or translation? I see it romanized here: http://www.animelyrics.com/anime/dbz/chiisanasensh.htm

It's the closest I've come yet, so thanks! Suupaa Gohan 2 might be able to translate the romanizations for me, if I ask her real nice. ^_^

Re: Lyrics for "Chiisa na Senshi"?
I tried doing this a few years ago, but didn't have much success. I didn't have the actual romaji then, though... maybe I'll try translating again?
Thanks for the link!
[edit]
Comparing the romaji to the actual song, I notice several errors in the first verse alone. I suppose they could be a matter of alternate readings of kanji.
I have a hard time making out the second word in the first line, but it doesn't sound like "nante", and the line in the lyrics that reads "Au tabi omou yo" is completely different in the song (I hear "Anta rippo moku yo").
I see a "wa" written as "ha" in the romanized lyrics, leading me to believe someone just put the kanji / kana through a romaji converter.
Which, if nothing else, means that translating it should still be manageable based on these. But still -_-
[/edit]
[edit2] There are many things in here I should have understood years ago that is totally appropriate. XD. I'll get to working on a full translation this afternoon. [/edit2]

Here's what I've got! A few things still tripped me up.
Kodomo nante baka ni shinai de
by not child-like mocking
Bikkuri pawaa wo himeteiru
A surprising power is hidden
Tada onigokko shita dake nano ni
Though have appeared ordinary 1
Hazumi de kowashita biru ga juuko
In an instant, its destruction seems natural
Aa futsuu no kodomo ni naritai
Aa, wanting to become a normal child 2
Kowai kao shita aku no senshi ni
The grim-faced warriors of evil...
Au tabi omou yo
I think we should go meet them! 3
*Ganbaranakucha ganbaranakucha
We gotta try, we gotta try...
Bokura ga mirai wo mamoranakucha...
We must protect the future!
Goten tenten sutten kororin
<I have no idea what this means. Bit by bit, Goten's ... going broke from arguments? Running off to battle? Smoking stubbornly? ... Herms~?>
Torankusu kusu waratte koronde
<Trunks is breaking <what?> apart and falling over? I don't think so.>
Futari ha nakayoshi chiisana senshi
The two are close friends and little warriors!
Oniisan ni mo naisho keredo
Though even secret to (my) older brother,
Bokura no pawaa ha appu shiteru
<Lost on this one, too. Our power can go up?>
Sakkaa no toki booru kettara
If we kicked a ball at soccertime,
Aozora yabuite hoshi ni natta
It would have become a star tearing through the sky!
Aa hitori ja mihatenu yume demo
Ah, alone the dream is impossible,
Futari issho ni hashiridashitara
But if two run together,
Kanarazu kanau yo
It will definitely come true!
Tanoshimanakucha tanoshimanakucha
We gotta have fun, we gotta have fun
Chikyuu no ringu de asobanakucha...
We gotta play with the world as our ring!
Goten tenten tenjou tabesugi
Goten eventually eats too much
Torankusu kusu kusuri wo nomasete
Trunks, drink your medicine <4?>
Futari ha nakayoshi fushigina senshi
These two close friends are mysterious warriors
*Repeat

1 "Onigakko"? I have no idea what this means and couldn't find a decent translation. "Gakko" is school, but I'm pretty sure this is something less bizarre than an oni-school.... Another possibility is that the "gakko" is from "kakko", something more like appearance; so the line could be "though appearing ordinary". I'm still not sure, though.
2 Well, it _could_ mean "wanting to become the ending's child" based on the romajii alone..
3 This line sounds completely different in the actual song, but... I have no idea how to go about translating it from what I hear there, so I'm hoping "Au tabi omou yo" is an alternate reading.
4 I don't really understand the (a)-sete conjugation all that well. T.T. Though, now I'm getting the image of Goten with a stomachache from overeating, and Trunks giving him medicine...

Re: Lyrics for "Chiisa na Senshi"?
In case it helps, here's an accurate romanization: http://kamehouse.it/inglese/dragonball/ ... -na-senshi
And here it is in Japanese: http://www.jtw.zaq.ne.jp/animesong/to/d ... isana.html
(If you need to copy and paste kanji, go to "View", then "Page Source")
As for "Oni-gakko", it's "Oni-gokko", which I believe is some kind of game involving a can. I recall something like this in Konjiki no Gash Bell!!

As it stands it's flat-out impossible for me to read Kanji, which makes translating... interesting. XD
