It was definately funny. I still say to this day, guys who didn't like it know they would've laughed at it in a Bugs Bunny cartoon.

Aha, I actually got a laugh out of the lines vegeta said during his fight with android 19. xD

"My, my... What do we have here?.. Oh yes.... the ULTIMATE tub of lard, bucket of bolts!"

Now that I think about it, you might be right about that. I think it's when Piccolo is encouraging Gohan to let the barrier down and attack Garlic Jr.?

And FUNimation's was changed to:

^ Yeah, I'm pretty sure that line's in the manga too. Around the time when they are summoning Porunga on Earth to wish back Kuririn, etc.

And when Trunks and Kuririn are looking through the plans for the Artifical Humans in Gero's laboratory, in the Funi dub Trunks states "Nah, just some crazy plans for a gas-powered toaster oven." This has always made me laugh, just for the sheer randomness of it.

But still, someone gets paid for writing this??!!

I know. Some of the FUNi dub lines make me laugh, but at the same time they make me facepalm with sheer embarrassment for the staff who thought up this shit.
