Oh yes, I'm sure it's Spike's fault with their four games and not that there's been nine other console and sixteen handheld games since 2002.
Yeah, I'm more sick of Dimps' games than Spike's.

Yeah, all those good games piss me off.
God damn.

Oh what, Rocketman can rip on Dragon Ball and suck off Vegetto 'till the end of time yet I can't continually defend my precious Budokai games? :P

But you know, don't you think you're overdoing it a bit? As I said before, we get it. You like the Budokai games and hate the Tenkaichi games.

Same could be said for you in a plethora of threads -- we get it, you don't like Super DragonBall Z.

Folks, keep it very strictly on-topic here regarding Raging Blast 2. If you don't have something new or relevant to post, please don't bother.

Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 is the sequel to last year’s high-flying, fast-hitting, and intense versus battles series. Dragon Ball Z fans can rest assured that the destructible environment, and character trademark attacks and transformations will be true to the series. These include signature Pursuit Attacks which enable players to initiate attack combo strings, juggling your opponent in a string of devastating strikes throughout the environment. Additionally, Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 will sport the new Raging Soul System which enables characters to reach a special state, increasing their combat abilities to the ultimate level. Sporting more than 90 characters, 20 of which are brand new to the Raging Blast series, new modes, and additional environmental effects, Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 is the next evolution in the home console series.
The part about 20 of which being "brand new" to the RB series made me laugh. It's their hyped up, clever way of saying there's 20 new characters.

Now we'll have as many characters as the first Sparking! game... yippee? Any predictions on who those characters might me?

I think it'll be Mystic Gohan, Dabra, and movie characters. Maybe a couple of DB/DBGT characters, but who knows?

I hate how we always have to get 25 boring screen shots before we get to anything interesting. I understand it's typical advertising but I get excited for updates only to see 5 screen shots of Goku punching Vegeta in a boring arena. Oh well, hopefully we'll see something new soon.

The models look really nice at least. [/brightside]

The character models do look a lot better than Raging blast but something tells me they were attempting to mimic Burst Limits style. The thing that gets me is the lack of changes done to the background, I mean they looked out of place in the first installment and now they look even worse. If they are going to use this cell shading style they should stick with it 100%.

Edit: Read the front page and now I'm really scared. The game is coming out this fall which signifies they did very little to improve upon the first game. This is going to be depressing.

From the screenshots the arena's looks pretty great, they have a thicker outline and the water looks a lot better.

The Namek one, with Vegeta hovering in the air above Goku.

Is there a link to a bigger image? The one on here and on the front page is too small for me to see the water.

Sorry I got confused, it's actually the Freeza and Goku one. (bottom left)

looks like they added current which is nice. It would be cool to see reactions in the water when characters attack. For example, the water would part if you shot a Kamehameha across the waters surface. Little details like that would make the game a lot more fun and exciting but I don't want to get ahead of myself there are still a lot of basic problems that they need to fix first.

Also, the water is an improvement but the backgrounds still feel out of place when compared to the characters.

Will they ever make it so the attacks actually hit the character instead of stopping right before and acting like it hit? It looks like they're stage fighting.

F'reals, yo. The least they could do is show us an awesome character right out of the gate to get us interested. But both Tag Vs/Tenkaichi Tag whatever and Raging Blast 2 have stuck with the same bozos that were in the last 600 games and are more or less confirmed by default.
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

It's possible they were working on it for a long while but didn't want to send screen shots out that weren't close to the final production. Just a guess, I think I remember things happening like that for other DBZ games.
