Wait, which ones weren't released?
I'm assuming he means the incomplete Ultimate Uncut line. However, this doesn't effect all the episodes with the Faulconer score being available in 4:3 as the Saiyan/Namek redub didn't use Faulconer's score.

If you want the show in 4:3 with the Faulconer score, I guess the best thing would be to get the first two Dragon Boxes for the first 67 episodes, then all the old singles for the rest.

Then what you need is surgery, not a product.

OW!!

But seriously, just go for the orange bricks. The video sucks in comparison to the Dragon Box, but they're cheap. I got all of em (for the exact opposite reason you did, I wanted to hear the dub actors with original BGM) and most of them were under 20 bucks.

It's a steal and a half.

Yeah so I pretty much enjoyed this dub a lot. I wish we could just get to the Freeza saga so we can have an accurate dub there for once.

If anyone wants to hear a little sample of the audio edits you can expect to hear (or not hear :P) on Nicktoons:

Thanks for the comparison.

Just wanted to note it's spelled 'Blu-Ray' not 'Blue-ray'. :P

Thanks for the comparison though!

I noticed three edits easily:

1. Goku not saying Damn you.
2. Slaughter being replaced with Annihilate.
3. Replacing "Kill more if you get a taste for it" with "It should be easy if you put your mind to it."

I know I shouldn't be surprised...but oh well. So far, not terrible. Removing swearing, lightening death words, and pulling back on some of the shockers. Still, annoying.

That isn't too terrible. At least the fact that he has to kill humans remains the same.

I suspect the broadcast version will not make any real substantive changes to the story. Things like attack names, character names (Mr. Satan), and swearing will obviously be altered or removed as appropriate, but even an edited broadcast version of Kai probably won't have the extent of the edits we saw back during its Season 1-3 run.

Well, if you've seen all 276 episodes of the original dub, and you want to see the episodes you missed, get Dragon Box Z volumes one and two. I know you want the Faulconer score, but there is no such thing for episodes 1~70. With the first two Dragon Box Z volumes, you'll be able to watch every skipped episode. :D

I'd also recommend you get Kai; it's got an amazing dub (well, for a Dragon Ball series anyways).

Really? I don't think FUNi is going to change Mr. Satan to Hercule in the edited dub like they did in the original run.

Well they sure as heck aren't going to call him Mr. Satan on Nicktoons.

It'd be cool if they called him "Mr. Savage." I forget what dub/manga translation did that one, but I think it's a little better than "Hercule"

It's better for lip-flap matching, if nothing else.
