I don't know that I'd call post after post of nothing but bare lists a proper thread, or at least not without something of substance implemented to back the choices (like "why" or "why not"), but then again . . . eh. I ain't a mod. Lemmy's just sayin'.

As for me, I couldn't really say. If I had to choose, I'd simply opt for the previous what-if characters to be retained. Not because I think fanwank material like SSj3 Broli was a particularly great idea, but because I dislike it when something that's available in one game of a series gets taken away in the next installment. I thrive on consistency.

I'm going to go with what I realistically think they're going to do.

1. Ultimate Gohan

-A much needed character that for some odd reason didn't make it into the 1st game.

2. Dabra
-Same reason listed above.

3. Mecha Freeza
-Has been in every Tenkaichi game except Raging Blast. He was another character probably omitted due to time restraints.

4.Cooler
(5.)*5th Form Cooler
-Kind of the go to movie character at this point.

5.*Great Ape Vegeta
6.Great Ape
- I don't think they felt like dealing with Great Apes in the previous game which is why they weren't added. Now that the combat system has been set up I'm pretty sure they're going to be put into the game.

7.Jenemba
-Another fan favorite movie character, was in since Tenkaichi 1 so I don't doubt he'll be in this game.

8.*SSJ4 Goku
9.*SSJ4 Vegeta
-I'm guessing they're going to be adding GT characters in this game. I'm pretty sure they'll complete Goku's transformation cycle this time around.

10..Perfect Baby
*11.Golden Great Ape Baby
-SSJ4 Goku has to fight someone.

11.Super 17
-Completing the GT villain cycle.

12. Omega Shenlong (I'm blanking on his Japanese name)
-Same as above.

-Going to be needed for the final story mode battle most likely.

-I'm not 100% sure on this one, technically he isn't needed. It's just a hunch really.

-I really don't want him in the game, he's a joke character that has stuck around since Budokai. However I'm pretty sure he'll be thrown in this time.

-Do I want them? Not really, but history indicates they'll be in.

20. Saibamen
-Same as above

Know what I really want? And yes, I know that I'll be called out as a nitpick monster for saying so . . . but y'know, I'd really like to see character transformations that actually make sense but for one reason or other are never included.

SSj2 Gotenks, for example. I know that we never "saw" this transformation, but there's no question that he did, could and always would have access to it. It bothers me that I'm always forced to skip from SSj to SSj3 when I know that there's something missing (or better, "hiding") in-between. The same could be said for SSj2 GT Kid Goku, I suppose. ;_;

If anything would replace the Kid Goku and his transformations it would be Both of Bojack's forms and Supreme Kai. So I'd say you were pretty accurate.

I thought about just listing Tiencha 20 times in a row, but that might be a little annoying. True, but annoying.

So instead, I'll bite. Even though Tenkaichi 3 had GT Characters, and I did love me a little SS4 Gogeta, I think it's time we start weening ourselves off of GT. It's a fun little side-story, but we don't need to be mixing it in with the real series. I'd rather have more characters from Dragon Ball, with an altered fighting mode to make the game compatible with non-flying characters (think that one PS3 Naruto game that totally copied SPARKING. A Naruto thing copying Dragon Ball? Egads.).

I guess I'm cool with that if we also get rid of all the craptacular movie characters. It sure is awesome playing as a generic, muscular blue guy who can shoot blasts and turn green, when I could be using interesting moves with Rildo or any of the seven Dragons.

Anyway, just fill my list up with all the major Dragon Ball and GT characters who somehow still haven't been in a Sparking! game. And a first-form Hirudegarn. Just because he looks cool.

GT didn't compare to Z or even DB, no. But their inclusion in RB2 is only logical, given their total absence in the original Raging Blast.
