I'd like to ask how underwear could be considered a pet, but I don't think there's any actual answer to that. o_O

Piccolo ages well considering how old he is by this time in the storyline.

And hooray for more shadowy figures. :3

Three of those pets are Giru, and no one can tell me otherwise.

The underwear looks kind of like Oolong when he transformed, so perhaps it's a shapeshifting anthropomorphic animal that turned into a pair of underwear. I hope.

I did some number crunching and in the time that the game takes place, Piccolo should be about 248 in the time the game takes place. (Depending on whether or not you count the time he spent in the RoSaT) He does age well.

And we do seem to get a lot of mysterious figures in this game. I suppose it wouldn't really be too much less of a mystery if they weren't silhouttes, though. We still wouldn't have a clue who they are.

Gorgeous looking art for Piccolo, there. I have to wonder if with all of his ki his body doesn't age.

I'd be willing to bet that it's probably just because he's a Namekian. They live longer than humans, so they probably age more slowly too.

Oh yeah, I forgot to post this earlier, but it's the game's new opening cinematic. One of the Namekians looks like a ninja. :D

Sorry! ^^;

Either way, the new opening cinematic's really awesome. It's about time that those Super Saiyans stop hogging all of the spotlight anyway. Time to share it with ninja Namekians. 8)

Ninja Namekian ftw.

Seriously, that has to be the best Dragonball related thing I have watched for the past 10 years. It blew my mind wide open, cannot wait for this game.

In the extremely unlikely event that this gets released on the PSP, I will perform the "Ginyu dance of joy".

Are we sure all those little images are pets, and some aren't just items?

Oh wow, that was an amazing trailer. They seem to be using the same characters from the first one. I wonder if they'll eventually be named for the game as "official" new characters...

Y'know, it hit me that this entire Dragon Ball Online project really seems to be far more well-made than the big console games have been. I'm sure if this is a tech issue, but boy do I think we'd all appreciate 'in-game engine' openings for the console games if they looked like this or were as dynamic.

EDIT: Haha, can't even spell 'console'. :p Maybe I should play more video games?

This hands down has to be the best intro I've sence Teankaichi 1, in fact its probably hands down the best CG intro. Badass would be an understament, you can tell a lot of effort and thought was put into it.On another note though

1. This isnt out yet is it?

2.Is this still coming to the Xbox?(personally I hope not)
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

Since a human has x% of Saiyan blood in them I want to make a guy with an afro and ask Shen Long to grant me the ability to go Super Saiyan (that's how you do that right?). Then see what a Super Saiyan with an afro looks like. I say afro since in the opening sequence there was a guy with an afro.

I mean, you're pretty open about looking at cartoon porn. Why would you do that? It's fiction. The proportions of these women are not possible to reach in reality.

Or you could just watch this video, which has all of the hair styles in DBO =) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fN2saXi-dCg

That wasn't in-game engine.

Anyway, am I the only one consistently not digging the aesthetic direction of this project? The punk-looking human character and ninja Namekian just seem like they're trying way too hard. The intro was well done, however.

I'm still waiting to find out if that old interview where Mr. Toriyama said Vegeta would probably die early from something stress-related still holds true in DBO.

Also I'd like to see if the elderly-Goku-with-a-"moostache" from the daizenshuu shows up at any point.

I just want to know what happens to Goku and Vegeta; I feel like all the other really strong fighters have been given new information regarding their future while those two have been left out. :(
But I know they couldn't be left out because of how popular they are; I'm guessing they're holding back information until later on.
On hiatus.

That opening sent shivers down my spine. Wow.
Don't know about the actual game, but the idea it has as a story would make a PERFECT anime/manga sequel.
Damn... I'm pretty much blown away at the moment. Woosh.
