I'm pretty sure the shadow is of the Namekian in this picture.

I demand to see these as transformations in the next fighting game.

And yeah, that vid was fucking epic.

I don't know about 0008 but you fight 19000(there is more than one) in Dr.Gero's cloning lab. You also fight that Buyon-like guy there(the one in the picture with the black Namekian).

I'm sure if this is a tech issue, but boy do I think we'd all appreciate 'in-game engine' openings for the console games if they looked like this or were as dynamic.

EDIT: Haha, can't even spell 'console'. :p Maybe I should play more video games?
Well this game was being developed for years.

I agree 100%. You can see the time and effort, not to mention massive production value oozing out of this game, just by the opening cinematic.
This is gonna be something special guys, fasten your seat belts.

Cronoku fighting not-Piccolo at the same old World Tournament, reusing the same five attacks we've all seen a hundred times before. HOO RAH

Hey, remember back before Dragonball Evolution came out and everybody pitched a gigantic goddamn pissy fit over that blurb that there might be ninja Namekians in it?

Yeah, which, again, only proves the problem isn't actually the movie but the audience.

Oh hon. There's a difference between individual people making fanchars (which said Nameccian represents, random people- and there have been many more not-ninjas shown in previous promotional material) and a movie saying "EVERY NAMEK IS A NINJA WOAH!" Really a lot of that movie's problem was that it was just a bad fanfic written by someone who didn't know shit about the characters...

So ... why the hell are the character so small?

Or have Dodoria and Zarbon just been juicing?

I think the Woman in red made them bigger.

Oh geez, that sounds so wrong.

I'm loving all the tidbits of news and like all of the designs so far. The only thing that I'm not completely sold on - and this might've been discussed before - is that the Namekians faces kinda look like Saibamen rather than well... Namekians? Is there any explanation for this?

I don't think there's been anything official about it, but I'd chalk it up to good old genetic diversity. All of the Namekians in the series, with exception to Piccolo and Kami, had the same parent, so they were bound to look somewhat similar. It's 216 years in the future in this game, so other Namekians are bound to have had kids by now. With each generation, I'd bet the kids look started looking more and more different from their parents, eventually looking like they do now.

Also, Piccolo Daimao said something about controling how Cymabal looked, so perhaps Namekians can do that with normal children as well.

I chock it up to giving Namek fans diversity. Humans have different facial structures and hair, while all Nameks... would just look like Piccolo. Same with Buus having alternate antennae.

Dodoria has some sort of jewel in his chest. Was that always there?

I guess the alien woman in red must've put the kind of green jewel on Dodoria and Zarbon's chests that control them and make them bigger because of the green jewels or that woman in red uses her powers to make them bigger.

The jewel enlarges them, and apparently he's back.

Those screen shots look really cool actually. If this was ported to a home console I'd probably play the shit out of it.
(Yeah I'm not holding my breath..at all.)
