I wonder...

Why didn't Goku and Gohan try to reach FPUSSJ1? I mean the form is superiour to SSJ, so if they could make that their natural form, it would be in every way superiour to regular FPSSJ.

The second and third grade forms drain ki too quickly, I would think

Yes, I know, but isn't that the whole point of FP? To get used to it, so it doesn't drain your Ki?

The bad aspects of that sate outweigh the good. Goku and Gohan realised this and instead tryied to make SSJ their natural state so it would drain less ki and they would be able to control it better and also use it to its full potential.

Yes for USSJ2, but Vegeta became better on every aspect while in USSJ1.

Thing is, SSJU is an overpowered SSJ. You can't get a FPSSJU as it's (IMO) not an acutall transformation. SSJU is to SSJ what 100% is to Freeza's final form.

<Kaboom> Neither does Rita

As Vegeta said, roughly, they reached the conclusion that regular Super Saiyan was the best form and decided to make it their natural form.

I don't think the body could sustain that form because it makes their muscles big and bulky, that's probably why.

Mmm...well, there really is no point. The Full Power Super Saiyan state is nothing but the result of adapting to the transformed state and thus reducing strain and fighting in optimal performance. If they trained their bodies to adapt to their USSJ state, there would be less ki loss but they'd still be weighed down by their mass. It would also be more difficult, if not impossible, to have the body sustain that state for long.

I always thought USSJ didn't have the side effects of the heavy muscles until USSJ2, but of course the problem could be the strain to keep it up for to long.
