Not sure if I like the way SS3 hair looks so far but it reminds be of what you would get if a PS3 attacked Budokai 1 graphics. [compliment]

The trailer looks pretty cool, I love the graphics and the attacks in the game looks pretty decent. I won't buy it just yet until I see more of the game.

This is pathetic. I'm not buying the same rehashed shit... AGAIN!!! The character models look even worse than before. And going by that trailer, they have added nothing substantially new.

Saw the trailer and I'm still not impressed. This is supposed to be a hype trailer, you know, something to get fans excited for but I see nothing new(it even took me awhile to remember they "updated the graphics"). I love the line "enough tactical depth to satisfy," satisfy what, the combat looks the same. I', hoping they at least fixed all the problems the first game had, at least that way the game will be playable and slightly amusing. Come on Spike, don't let me down.

Yes, it's mostly that. The gaming side of me understands why general gaming sites don't care about Dragonball games anymore. If spike has nothing new to offer for general gamers why should they care? At the same time however, the Dragonball side of me is like WHERE IS MY DRAGONBALL COVERAGE!?! I'd like to see coverage of RB2 during E3.

But alas, I have this site and I know you will review the game(that's a given). After reading your RB review(as well as your gamer blog) I know I can trust your reviews.

Ok, done sucking up now, lol.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

While not anything spectacular, the trailer was alright but what I did like was that they added new impact animations to the characters when there being smacked away you can see them spinning in the air.

The graphics look way better in motion. I'm liking what I'm seeing so far.

This looks terrible. Budokai style graphics, and no decent characters announced yet. But I guess the shit graphics would mean they can include Cellin
Oh, you think the Grand Tour is your ally, you merely stepped into the Grand Tour. I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn’t see the Super until I was already a man; by then, it was nothing to me but blinding!

I'm anything but a Budokai Fan, but to call these "Budokai Graphics" is insulting. Budokai never looked this ugly. Budokai 1 was close, though.
Super Saiyan Blue is not a creative color.
DBZ Movie 3 told a stronger and more believable "Evil Goku" story in 60 minutes than Dragon Ball Super has in 20 episodes. And it did it with better visuals and score.

I really dig the graphics, although I also really dig the cell-shaded anime style graphics. I just hope they fix the horrible camera and controls and this should be at the very least playable. Raging Blast 1 was worse than Tenkaichi 1.

What's wrong with the graphics? They look fine to me, and was anyone was going to think it was going to have Graphics that look like Gears of War 3?

I dont have a problem with the graphics, but I would love for a DB game to have Tekken style graphics.

Unreal Engine+ Dragonball= disgusting. So no, no one was hoping for a Dragonball game that looked like Gears.

My problem is with the style of the art. I've never liked Spike's models because they look so "blocky" and misshapen, not to mention the proportion of the characters are funky as hell. Granted, at times the proportions in DBZ are off but, go back a few pages(where the Goku ad was shown) and look at Goku's stance during a Kamehameha. His left leg is disgusting; the model rigging in this game is reminiscent of the PS1 days(I believe someone made a comparison to Final Bought somewhere). After playing Burst Limit for a year and a half it's hard for me to take a step back and respect Raging Blast's graphics. Not to mention, the cell shaded characters mixed with the normal looking background looks horrendous.

Granted graphics don't make the game but they sure do help. It's also hard to defend Raging Blast's gameplay when the combat system isn't anything special. I'm afraid to call the game simple(seeing as fans of the series find it deeply complex) but I've seen better gameplay in fighting games and I can't say I enjoy mashing my square button every time I want to do a "combo." Yes, yes I must suck at the series if all I can do is criticize it's one button mechanics( ) but the gameplay in these Tenkaichi games is way to simple. The games gets old way too fast for me; I'd much rather see something more along the lines of a traditional fighter.

You mean like the Evolution PSP graphics? :P

The environments look much, MUCH better, but still not feelin' the character models.

I agree, I'm sure they will grow on me though much like Raging Blast's models did.
I guess there was just no other way for the models to go really, unless they stayed the same. This looks like a step towards BL style models if you ask me.

Did anyone watch Inside Xbox on Saturday? Raging Blast 2 got some coverage on the show.
