Korin & Yajirobe

Post by Innagadadavida » Tue Mar 17, 2009 5:37 am

Hey guys! I'd like to share with you my parody series that I'm working on. I created these videos as a way for me to test the parody waters so to speak. I'm trying to see what works and what doesn't work so constructive criticism would be very much appreciated. Anyway, the series is about Korin and Yajirobe and their life in Korin's Tower.
- The Repair
- The Fusion
- Gohan's Predicament
- Tao Pays a Visit
- Korin's Scheme
- The Rap Battle (With it's own thread!?)
- The Inteview
- Android 17's Hole
- Korin Makes Goku Cry

Tao Pays a visit was just hilarious, and the others were pretty good too. Keep it up.

Hah, some people might hate those kinds of jokes, but Tao getting Rick Rolled to me is gold.

Tao pays a visit is definitely my favorite one. Kudo's on these, man, Kudos.

Doesn't Remix do some voices in this, too?

Man, your works are hilarious! Tao getting Rick Rolled was pure comedy gold, as was all the others! I liked Korin's explanation of different kinds of kis in Korin's Scheme, and him and Yajirobe trying to get Marron naked.

What's interesting about these is the appeal. Obviously some are better than others, but I've had at least one person tell me that each one is their favorite. The most popular is Korin's Scheme. That one seems to be the most accessible. The humor is very basic and not as bizarre, awkward, or random.

The Rap Battle is probably going to be the most successful of these first seven. Of course, I spent more time on that one than any of the others, and probably all to come.

I'm really happy with these, and I can't wait to do more. I'm making something that people like and that feels pretty damn cool. Of course, I'm totally piggybacking off of a series that has an established fan base and a fad that's really popular now. BUT NONETHELESS! People are enjoying them!
It's really my first successful project.

Anyway, hilarious videos, bro. Nice work! :)

New Video:
Karin Makes Goku Cry

I watched the old dubbed Dragon Ball Movie 2 the other day, and just had to dub the scene with Korin. Making this video reminded me of how much fun they are to do and I can't wait to finish some more. My next one has Broly in it.

Tell me what you think of "Korin Makes Goku Cry."

Okay, I'm extremely sorry for the huuuuuuuge necro-post.

I just wanted to say that, even though you aren't doing anymore of these, they were really great, and the "New Adventures" looked like they would have been a real treat to see

These two links are compilations that Innagadada has put up on Youtube. I nearly forgot how funny these were!

Good work, and good luck with Dragon Dub Z! :D

As long as this is necro-reopened for discussion, these videos are funnier than TeamFourStar's. Just slightly, but slightly enough for me to confidently say so.

You gave the world a gift with "Android 17's Hole" and "Tao Pays A Visit." And not because of the Rick Roll, but because of everything up until that point.

That Karin and Yajirobe rap battle is the funniest shit I've seen on YouTube in a while. Nice work!
