... so what's happening in that third panel anyway? Is 'clin' suppose to indicate him using an attack with his big eyeballs or something? I've been having fun with the comic again lately but that exchange just confuses me. (of course, I haven't seen Buu <_< So perhaps it's something well known I'm just blank on.)

It's the same as that time on Namek when Vegeta died, and Goku created a grave with just his glance.

Buu was moving a very tiny piece of his body towards Broly. Vegeto noticed it and destroyed it (hence the glare). The last panel is a close up of Buu's leg with the tiny piece of Buu destroyed by Vegeto. It's Buu who's speaking in the last panel. I hope this clears things up a bit :)

Is it just me, or is the dialogue getting progressively more awkward as the comic goes on? I don't know French, so I can't speak about the translation, but whether it is accurate or not, it isn't naturalized very well.

I think Salagir's translating himself or has an 'English editor'...but I don't think his editor speaks very good English. One of these days I'd like to go over the pages and send in a more...proper edit of the dialogue.

Talk to Salagir first and mention that. He'll probably accept you as part of the team. You should have seen the disgrace that was the Portuguese translation before I started, luckily there's someone substituting me now, all this Broly shit made me lose my will to do it. It was, of course, translated by a French guy who was having "Portuguese" classes teached by a Romanian. Yeah... makes sense.

I`ve sent an email offering Salagir my help to at least check the english and portuguese translations and to suggest corrections. Basically quality control although I didn`t phrase it like that (I don`t want to step on anybody`s toes  ).

shouldn't Buu be a little more cautious since Vegetto "...mastered the only technique that can destroy me"?

I emailed Salagir about the Portuguese section too. I told him the translation is closer to Brazilian Portuguese rather than to Portuguese Portuguese (like the flag on the headline) but he didn't reply me.

I`ve noticed that there are plans to start a Brazilian translation so they might need PT-PT translators after that, who knows?

Oh, and Salagir stated that he usually takes very long to reply. He did reply to me on that "relative speed" subject.

But at the same time he's still cocky as fuck Buu who thinks he's stronger than Vegetto...because, well he's Buu. Also he assumes Vegetto is still wiped out from using that blast against Broly while in SSJ3

I suggested a Brazilian translation last fucking year! About bloody time, it's kinda annoying putting up with their comments saying that the translation "sounds funny" or that they can't understand it.

Again I think this Buu is EXTREAMLY cocky...he's starting to remind me of Vegeta when he fought Cell or when he(Vegeta) was boasting about being a Super Saiyan when Dende healed him even though he wasnt.

But I do think that the Vargas will manage to send Broly back just in the nick of time.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

Vegetto used a microscopic Genkidama? Neeaaaaaat. :D

Original: ''You saw that I was secretly sending a small portion of myself after Broly, even though I managed to make it microscopic. Bravo! I imagine it's impossible to sneak anything passed you, Vegetto. And to think you've mastered well the only technique capable of destroying me...''

To be fair, the original is poorly phrased, this time around as well.

I find it interesting that it doesn't mention Goku using it to dig Vegeta's grave, but yeah. This is what Vegetto did.

Oh right! I totally forgot about this technique, which is similar to other telepathic abilities. We see telepathy often throughout Dragonball but it is something that takes a back seat to other ki abilities such as energy beams or flying (although the latter is similar).
