When Raditz says "NOW DIIIIIEEEEE!!"
I'm expecting a breakdown and much headbanging with his long hair.

Yea, I know what you mean. I wanted to write it as "NOW DIEEEEEEEE!!!" But I kept telling myself to keep it as it would say it in the script and now how it's said. But yea there are so many times he could totally break out into "I WANNA ROCK!" mode.

If only Raditz had some kind of hair metal insert song, it'd be PERFECT.

Does the home releases have any "mature" words beside "hell"?

When watching the Dragon Boxes, I thought it looks like something right out of Fist of the North Star, especially with it's 80's animation and whatnot. His arms are as big as full power Kenshiro's!

An excessive use of "Damn" or "Dammit".Goku100xKamehameha wrote:Does the home releases have any "mature" words beside hell?
As well as the occasional bastard.
And the one time "COCKY GREEN ANTENNA-HAVING BASTARD".

Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!

Nope. Least not yet. Apparently shit was recorded, but I'll doubt we'll get a fuck. It'd be completely unnecessary.Goku100xKamehameha wrote:So no "Shit or "Fuck"
However, here's to hoping we get at least 1 "candy ass faggot!"
And yes, the cocky green antenna-having bastard line is spoken by Nappa.

I'm sure you will cover this in your next update. It shocked me enough to take me out of what I was doing on the computer when I wasn't even paying attention to the TV.Tanooki Kuribo wrote:In this TV version he yells out "Special Beam Canon" again. I guess that's going to be the norm.

I cant believe they have almost entirely re-recorded the script to remove all references to death.
That's some awful dedication.

It's all about business. If ya want money, you gotta put money and effort into something first. Spend some, win some. Especially from the kids.dan2026 wrote:I cant believe they have almost entirely re-recorded the script to remove all references to death.

For the record, they aren't removing all references to death. There are a bunch of times the word "die" or "death" is said. You just don't know it cause I don't make a note of it because it's not an edit. "Dies" is actually in the opening theme song! "Nothing ever dies we will rise again".

I'd say FUNi is being a bit more lenient with the edits than Saban with the Ocean dub.
Oh and Tanooki, are you planning to do this with all the episodes, or just the main ones?

I would love to do this with all the episodes. I know some episodes are goiong to be more work then others but, I'm hoping some episodes have maybe one or two edits later on...Piccolo Daimaoh wrote:Oh and Tanooki, are you planning to do this with all the episodes, or just the main ones?

You need to register a domain and put all of these up there! I never thought I'd see new DBZ uncensored comparisons in 2010.
I kind of like the TV version of Goku getting hit with the "Special Beam Cannon" better. The blast makes it look like it pierced Raditz's body and just hit Goku hard after making an exit wound. It explains the weird purple bruise better.
