I'm sure they could work up an explanation.

I will only accept that if it's rendered as "Goku Son".

Why not use Luffy D. Monkey while we're at it?

Pretty lame that Atari didn't keep Makafushigi Adventure for the game's intro, though.

No more or less than Kaio-ken or Makankosappo...

I never really understood the 'son' part of Goku but pretty glad its almost nonexistant in the Dub. I'd rather not be a fan that refer to him as 'son'.

Why do you feel that way? What's wrong with using Son?

This is not a thread to discuss whether or not you like the usage of Goku's actual name when speaking his actual name.

To wrap things back around on-topic, here's what I got in today:

I'm sorry, but I have to say I laughed at this pretty hard. It gave me the lulz.

But on topic, I'm hoping Daizenshuu 4 will be hitting my mailbox pretty soon! ^_^

I'm aware that this is the wrong thread to ask this question, and bootlegs are generally frowned upon in this forum, but I'll be damned if I'm not curious...what the hell is this?
It's been done countless times before, but...

A bootleg of the season sets with really nice packaging is my guess.

I LOL'd at "first 291 episodes" and "This is not a homemade knock off bootleg copy - it is the factory direct version", as if to say that it is a bootleg, just mass-produced not home-made.

Hmm, not sure how it can be factory-sealed if the individual cases are sliding out. Anyway, it looks pretty professional, and it uses FUNimation's old grandient orange DBZ logo, but it's definitely not FUNimation. It has to be a bootleg of some sort, but I'd be interested to find out where exactly it came from. The descriptions definitely sound like they were ripped from the backs of the season sets, but since I don't own them, I can't say for sure.

They don't mention a specific region code. It seems to me like this is region free so I would be careful with this item. I'm also curious about how many discs this set has.

Congrats Gaffer Tape. Your post count "IT'S OVER ONE THOUSAND"

My girl just got me a full set of Kanzenban off Yahoo Japan. Now to deal with the scary prospect of what it will cost to have them shipped to me. Eek :/

Got Dragon Box 3 from Amazon yesterday. It's a little banged up, but not enough that I feel like returning it (unless I find a problem with the discs themselves). I also got stuck with (pun not intended) tape instead of the easier sticky stuff. That's going to be fun to deal with.

Also got a few more Japanese DB singles (#17-20) over the past few months. It's wonderful to finally see the second DB OP in full DVD quality, after all these years.

Just got my Dragon Box GT Single Vol.11!!!! :D :D :D :D, after I insert the disc to my Blu-ray player it's play Toei's promo then the OP, it's so rich of colors (unlike Funi's DBox Z) and the sound is awesome!!!
