Hey Tanooki Kuribo, how long does it take you to do one episode?

If it's an easy episode like this last one, maybe like 2 hours. Episode 3 took me like 5 - 8 hours. I didn't do it all in one sitting though. This week I was on vacation so I had a bunch of free time which is why it seemed like I been pumping these out right after another. That's gonna stop this week though. I think I can do maybe 2 or 3 this week.

It could be that Nicktoon's censorship restrictions are tighter than Cartoon Network's. Toilets might be okay on CN, but not Nick. Although being on the toilet is no more offensive than peeing. Also, cable television isn't regulated by the FCC, but cable networks have different rules about what they will and will not show. This is is also to appease their advertisers.

Although in all honesty, much of the censorship is not nearly as bad as the Saban days IMHO. Tighter than CN censorship, but not too bad. At least they mention death and killing more or less.

With the amount they are censoring now, I have to wonder what's going to happen when they get to the really brutal fighting.
Particularly Everybody VS Vegeta, everyone in that fight gets the crap kicked out of them.

It's weird, but it's obvious from watching the various programming on Nicktoons that bathroom humor is acceptable, but anything moderately violent is not. It's the opposite on Cartoon Network, where they shy away from bathroom humor and generally allow violence.

They finally showed Yeah Break Care Break! on Nicktoons... it was short like the intro, and they used a fade out of the song.

OK, sorry. That was a asshole answer... They say "kill", "die", "death" all the time. They aren't censoring those words every time someone says them, just sometimes.

Dragon Ball Z Kai (TV Version Edits): Episode 9 "Yamcha's Struggle! The Terrible Saibamen!"





Can you belive the episodes with Gohan and Piccolo training had more edits then this one? Oh well, here is episode 9...

Vegeta and Nappa finally made it to Earth. Nappa decides to give Earth a warm welcome by blowing up a piece of the city they landed in. Yamcha, Piccolo and Gohan had some small reaction scene to this, Tien's dialogue was edited in his scene...



After Vegeta tells Nappa that was a bad idea, he says...



Then he goes on to tell Nappa, they need to look for the highest power level because...



Vegeta and Nappa eventually do what Vegeta suggested about finding the highest power level. They soon find Piccolo, Gohan and Krillin. As they begin to talk to Piccolo, Vegeta realizes...



Eventually, Nappa sends out the Saibamen to fight the Z warriors (yea, I said it). When Vegeta see's Tien has the upper hand in this battle, he destroys the Saibaman as a warning to the others to go all out from the start. The Saibaman blowing up and having it's guts spewed on the ground are cut out.



Then when Yamcha goes to fight one of these things it blows itself up, killing Yamcha in the process. The dead body is apparently fine to show, it's the Saibamen's claw that is a step too far...





When Krillin goes to check if Yamcha is dead, some blood is edited out...





Realizing he's dead, Krillin belts out...



To which Nappa replies...



Well, that was an easy episode. Episode 10 tomorrow!
