Too much text, not enough screens. Can somebody cover all this in a few bullet points? :)

Furthermore, the destruction of the landscape will be much deeper, our vital waves cause large craters and mountains until we get rid of them whole.
It appears we're getting more destructible arenas...at least, I think we are.

Oh hell yeah. Spiderman 2. Yugioh GX. Linkin Parks Meteora. Broly the Second Coming. Digimon the second series. Need I go on?
The only thing that was ever better as a sequel was Pokemon Gold and Silver as opposed to Blue and Red.
Am I to believe this user actually thinks Spiderman 2 ISN'T a better film than the first? 0_o
Also strangely enough I preferred GX.

Can someone explain to me why the Raging Blast series is called Dragon Ball and not Dragon Ball Z, when it covers Dragon Ball Z and not Dragon Ball?
Please and Thanks

It's all the same 'show'. They have just chosen to start with characters from the saiyan saga.

Basically they're saying that

- The combos will now have the deep complexity of BT3 plus more.

- The camera has been reworked so it now focuses on both characters and their actions.

- We now have 14 stages and the previous stages have been up graded, with deeper destructibilty.

- They also said that among the twenty new characters there will be familiar faces but, we still are in for surprises, I'm guessing
Ultimate Gohan
Dabura
Saibamen
Cell Jr
Bojack
Janemba
Cooler/Meta Cooler
Uub
Supreame Kai
Turles
King Piccolo
Pan
Baby
Super 17
Syn Shenlong
Nouva
Paikuhan
Eis-maybe
New what if??-maybe
New what if??-maybe
(I'm not sure If I should add SSJ4 as part of the new characters even though SSJ4 Vegeta has been seperate from jump street.)

- They also said that some transformations will depend on time of day so maybe Oozaru is back.
- We're also promised DLC.
- Deep customization
Well that about somes it up.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

If they add oozaru, I almost feel like that would be atleast 3 or 4 waisted of the ""new 20"" characters.

I see them giving it to:

Vegeta
Gohan
Bardock
Possibly just an Oozaru like in DB if Kid Goku was added.

I really hope they don't just give it to every saiyan with a tail.

I'll wait for reviews before I buy it. If pigs fly, Jesus returns to save us all, and the camera and controls have be re-worked, I'll give this one a rental.

I'm all for DLC as long as it's not as lame as RB1's. That stuff was stupid.

As for these "new" features, whats new about them?

Complex combos that are as advanced as BT3? That's a good one(I call it more square bashing). If they do manage to pull off a deep and adavance combo system I will be a happy gamer. Spike, I will believe your "advance combo" statement when I see it.

Camera has been reworked. That's not a new feature, that is a problem that should never have been there. However, hearing about what they are doing does put a smile on my face and has me interested. Lets hope they don't screw it up.

14 stages. How many were in BT3?

Again this stuff isn't anything "new" We've all heard these claims in past installments. At least, on the positive side, if they don't half ass these claims we will at least get a polished game.

I know my DLC statement was brief before but if they managed to put out nice, fun, DLC they can possibly manage to keep this game alive(and make a profit on it) for at least a few years. I'd like to see something along the lines of a $10-15 dollar Dragonball pack and then something similar with GT. I think that would be fair. However if they try selling costumes and attacks for money then forget about it!

Yeah but here's the thing about Spike, that's their style. They count transformations as characters and if they bring back Oozaru, expect at least 2(Vegeta and the basic Oozaru) versions. so now we are left with 18 characters. Now factor in Ultimate Gohan and Dabara(obvious editions that should have been there before) and you have maybe 16 new characters(including their forms) left. Another obvious character choice is Cooler, so that's 3 forms(normal, transformation and metal) that leaves us with 13 new characters. From these 13, I'm guessing 1 or 2 might be completely original, while the others are going to be characters we've seen before in other Spike installments.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

I guess since they are only really adding and improving things it shouldnt be too hard since the game engine and stuff is already made.

So maybe then they can really focus on the issues from the first game and make this one really good?

Hopefull but meh

I did too. The characters have way more personality in Duel Monsters GX. Anzu, Honda, Jōnouchi and Yūgi are too one dimensional for my tastes.

If RB2 has the same camera problems that RB had, I will seriously eat my shorts.

I feel nothing for Raging Blast 2. A year ago, I'd be bouncing off the wall. But Raging Blast was the disappointment of the century, and with these craptacular graphics in Raging Blast 2, I just can't bring myself to get excited over any of it. And if we're going to overhaul the graphics engine, why cant we get something that looks like this?

Tenkaichi Tag Vs, however... Makes me seriously consider getting a PSP. Here's to hoping for a Wii iteration.

I'm alright with two Vegetas since he had such a big change throughout the show and has one of the biggest move rosters of anyone in the game.

Those look more Like Dimps style graphics. We can't expect that kind of stuff outta Spike.

Disappointemnt of the century........really? ... REALLY?

No idea why? Although I thought was GREAT, even if you did dislike it, of course the next one will be better.

Already, I know I'm buying this.

The new info sounds ok, but still nothing worth wide that makes me want to buy it. Their have been many video sequels that where improvement over the first, and I hope RB2 will be one of them.
