When I'm looking for brand new merch I tend to go to Hobby Link Japan http://www.hlj.com/ Prices are reasonable, shipping is reasonable, and I like the way they pack their boxes to protect the product. You may have to wait a while sometimes (my big shiny Viral statue-thing got here way faster than I thought but 23rd Budokai chibi Pic took ages), but they've done well by me. They don't keep older merch in stock much though, so use other places for older out-of-print toys.
If you're patient, you can try ordering the out-of-stock items. They may order them for you. I tried filling out my collection of the Kanzenban by ordering from them. Some of them were out of stock, but I still ordered them. I wasn't expecting to get the out of stock items for like months, but in about a week they became available and their being shipped to me now.

Well, a few days ago, I ordered a Dragonball Z figure set and movies 6 and 11 DVD from RightStuf. I said to myself: "This is coming next week, it'll be fine." I woke up, and I saw on my footrest, there was a big box. Was I dreaming? It couldn't of come THAT fast. But I ripped it open, and it was my Dragonball goodies! And here are pics:

Oh, and Dragonball Z movies 6 and 11, now only 2 more movies away!

Pictures of the figures and sides of box will surely follow. :D

Nice stuff, it looks awesome!
Erm...a little off-topic, but worth mentioning as I just saw the movies you got, so here it is.Should I buy the Steel case movies, or the single movies, like the ones you have shown us?As in, which are better(clearness, colour, sound quality etc.)?

Actually, I have no idea. All I know about the "Steel Books" is that they come with the Japanese BGM with the Dub, I don't actually own any of the steelbooks.

The steel case releases aren't Dragon Box quality but they're pretty good. They're better looking than the old singles for sure.

EDIT: Here are some screen shots from movie 9. The single release is on top.

The steel books movies and the DBox Movies are in 16:9 the singles are in 4:3, that's probably why he bought the singles
The movies are made in 4:3 by Toei because it's cheaper than 16:9, when the 4:3 footage want to show on cinema, it's crop to 16:9 but of course it's animated so when it's crop to 16:9 it's not missing important details (just like Kai's OP and ED)

It could be the angle, or maybe with Goku's head turned, it looks a tad longer than normal.

Just made an order from HJL for Shenlong statue (or rather "Mr. Popo's Shenlong Prototype"). The shipping cost is more than the figure itself but luckily HLJ is offering free express shipping on all items as long as you pay using paypal until June 11th. Thought that was worth sharing in case anyone else is interested in picking up DB merchandise from HLJ.

That's exactly what I bought when I first got the email for free shipping! I'm glad I didn't cave earlier and pay full shipping for it.

I made some purchases a couple of months ago at Sakura Con, and am just now getting around to posting them:

Image

Heh, just realized that everything I bought at the con was chibi (except for, you know, the porn). Please ignore the cute/creepy Puchi Nendoroid Lights in the background ^_^

On the left, chibi Vegeta with Saibaiman. I always enjoy finding Saiyan saga Vegeta stuff, since most of the figures I have are Cell saga and later versions.

On the right, a figure depicting the greatest filler of all time (OF ALL TIME!). OK, so it's actually based on a image Toriyama drew, not directly inspired by the filler (though I'm not sure which came first....I'll assume the image came before the episode was conceived).

On the bottom, a very exciting find....my first piece of young Vegeta merchandise! It's just a tiny little charm, but I'm so happy to finally have Vegeta's adorably surly child form in my possession!

And underneath it all, we have the pr0nz. It's mostly Son family stuff (Gokuu/Chichi and Gohan/Videl) with not much of my preferred pairing of Vegeta/Bulma, but it's so rare to find Dragonball doujinshi at a con, I just had to pick it up regardless of the pairings.

I do regret not purchasing a certain piece of merchandise when I had the chance. On Saturday, I found a pretty nice Vegeta cel that wasn't too expensive ($120....mind you, most Vegeta cels I've seen before are over $250). Since I wasn't planning to back to my hotel soon (it was quite a walk) and didn't want to risk bending the cel by keeping it in my bag all day, I was going to purchase it the following day. But when I came back Sunday, it had already sold :( Oh, well, I guess I'll keep searching....
