Well they didn't technically announce it. They said on their Twitter page that it was in their September schedule.

Why is it always longer for new releases after a May release?

Isn't May like towards the end of Funimation's fiscal year? Maybe that's the case and it takes them a little bit to get the new fiscal year up and running.

Gohan kills Cell and is Great Saiyaman on that box though, plus we already have Freeza arc Goku on the first box, and Cell arc Vegeta on the Second box, so who gives a dog's testicle what's on the box? We're actually getting the same 7 pictures that were on the Japanese Dragon Boxes so pfffft to you.

Yeah probably. If we are being consistent with the artwork on the japanese dragonboxes then Cell, Piccolo, and Super Saiyan Goku will be on future boxes but we still need a seventh. I wonder who will be on it.

If I had to guess, I'd say buu.

Oh, I was reading the guides on this website, and I read that Funi had acquired rights to the Dragon Box movies.So does this guarantee us the movies?I mean why would Funi waste their ''hard earned'' money and not even release them?
Hopefully they will release the Dragon Box movies, ALL of the Z Dragon Boxes, and all of the DB/GT ones too!

Gohan is featured on the spine for Dragon Box Z 2 in Japan and on the front of the DVD books, he'll probably be on Dragon Box Z 5 here. I'm gonna say Cell will be on Box 4 since he'll be featured heavily, and it should end with Goku coming out of the Room of Spirit and Time and checking out Cell's perfect form, so it'll perfectly lead into box 5, with the Cell games starting and ending around the start of the 25th Tenkaichi Budoukai, possibly episode 210, "No Small Matter!! Little Trunks".

If I had to guess, I'd say buu.

It's almost a given it will be Garlic Jr./Androids-era Gohan, as seen on the spine art of the second Japanese Dragon Box and the back of the DVD books. I don't think the discrepancy with Gohan's appearance will be much of a factor, considering first form Frieza is on the third box and that form doesn't appear in the episodes in the set. (unless there is a flashback I'm forgetting)

We have no idea yet. I was hoping to see the TV specials in the boxes that correspond with the arc it is in. Hopefully sometime before the 7th box because it wouldn't make since to put it in the last one. That's Buu stuff and it also wouldn't make since to put it with the movies since they aren't movies.

They're not movies but they do tend to be treated that way by FUNimation. So while it might not make perfect sense, I can imagine they'd throw those two specials in with the movies.

I hope so, it would also be quite cool if they included "DragonBall Z: Side Story – The Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans" in one of the Dragon Boxes as well, seeing as they got all the Dragon Box footage (I think)
