Clips of episode 14 are on the Nicktoons website:
http://nicktoons.nick.com/shows/dragon-ball-z-kai
EDIT: I've been looking at DBZK vids on Youtube and I'm not surprised homw many times the 'OVER 9000!' vid has been uploaded. Took a quick look at some of the comments on the 'Over 8000' vids and there were a lot of confused and unhappy fans saying things such as:
I WILL SHOOT ANYONE WHO FAVORITES THIS VIDEO.

Just goes to show how much fans love this meme. :P

If they were going to change dialogue they should have just went full out and edited the lines to be exactly the same as the Saban produced dub. That would at least be pretty interesting.

How do you make Nicktoons believe you're located in the United States?

Why the hell would they keep it as "9,000" in the dub, but not on the DVD/Blu-rays? This makes zero sense. And why not go all the way with it and release both versions? Instead, kids will be buying the DVDs and Blu-rays going, "Wait, WHAT?! THAT'S WRONG!!!"

Alright, I've watched all of the Kai dub released so far, and I'd like to honestly ask people...

Why do you find Oolong so bad? It's... not bad at all. I suppose it's because I now that's not far from the actor's actual voice, but it doesn't sound strained or annoying at all.

I dunno, I guess I just have a huge voice crush on Brian Massey, hoping to GOD he'll play Recoome. But I still don't see what's so very bad about his Oolong voice. Then again, it definitely doesn't sound much like the original, so that could have something to do with it.

That's definitely true, which does have something to do with it, but probably not in the way you are thinking... My problem is that he tries too hard to sound like the original, even to trying to imitate his accent, but ends up sounding like a very cheap imitation, which is kinda what the new actors are not supposed to be...

He always sounds strained too, which is strange that you didn't hear that, because I found it quite noticeable. He tries to sound forcibly "quite", airy and scared, which of course Oolong is supposed to be a coward, but this new actor tries to make him sound scared in every single line he speaks, which are the majority of his lines here, but even in lines where he isn't supposed to be scared, like when he asks Bulma what she is detecting on the scouter...

Is it just me or no one likes colleen's Gohan on youtube? The Japanese fans like her, the dub fans don't..it's a paradox I say!

Actually I liked the 9000 tv version, though the acting part was much more accurate on blu-ray.

I'm a dub fan, and like Colleen's Gohan. Honestly I saw a clip from the 2005 redub of the same scene and can't listen to Stephanie's Gohan when Gohan is that age again.

Exactly what I've been worried about for a while now man. Someone buying a product expects basically what they saw with things that were edited for content or time back in, not such a drastic change. When kids buy this and it doesn't even have the same bloody theme song... It's just a bad idea.

Agreed. If they weren't going to keep fans of the meme happy, they should've done the scene word for word from the Ocean dub.

Yeah, it's especially odd because it was closer to the Ocean scene in the DVD release in the line "Vegeta! What does the scouter say about his power level!?", which was randomly changed for no reason on the TV broadcast...

Maybe it was a mistake? Or maybe they just wanted to piss off the fans of the meme and laugh in their faces. I kinda like the last one. :D

So I just got Kai on DVD yesterday, and I watched the first 5 episodes dubbed.

It is so weird, it is like watching the show for the first time. I know what's going to happen, but the new music/better voices/better script accuracy, makes it feel like something completely new.

I have bought all the Dragon Boxes so far, and haven't watched a single episode, but with Kai I can't wait to sit down and watch the whole series as it comes out!

Also I'm not sure if this was covered or not, probably was, but Roshi is definitely drinking beer in that episode. It's not edited at all on the DVD at least. (EDIT: Yep it was mentioned in Tanooki's thread)

Not a thing is edited on the home release. We don't even have TV-Y7 dialog anymore. It's beautiful, really...
