Well, I see it as a marketing stunt. I was told by one of my good friends that there was a Dragon Ball restaurant, and low and behold there it was when I went to get some pizza and go to GameStop.

This confused a ton of people at my school back when DBZ was airing. Am I the only person who both reads the subtitles and listens at the same time? Everyone would assume that since the subs read "Tien", it was "Ten" in English, so that's what they called the character.

(Of course, it could also be taken as a shortening of his real name, but they probably weren't smart enough to research that.)
