Is that some sort of joke? How could they be so blatant as to name the restaurant "Dragon Ball". What's the restaurant next it called? "Naruto"?

Well, I see it as a marketing stunt. I was told by one of my good friends that there was a Dragon Ball restaurant, and low and behold there it was when I went to get some pizza and go to GameStop.

I think Tom Dubois of "The Boondocks" said it best for me when FUNimation announced the release of the domestic Dragonbox, after buying all of the Season Sets: "MOTHERFUCK!!! SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT, PRICKS, SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIIIIIIIT!"

Coincidentally, pan in both Spanish and Japanese means bread. Then in English it means, well, you know...

In the Arabic dub, Namu's name is "Mandi". Mandi happens to be the name of a traditional dish in the Arabian peninsula, and it consists of meat (Beef, Lamb or chicken), yellow rice, and spices as seen in the picture below.

That's actually not a coincidence. It's a loanword in Japanese, and I believe it originated from either Spanish or a related language.

If you'll go with how it is pronounced, Cell -> Seru. When someboy asked you in czech, what are you doing?! And your answer will be ''seru'', you'll tell him in pretty bad mannered way that you are takin' dump.
Or you can say, ''seru na to'' or ''já se na to vyseru''. That is equivalent for english I don't give a s**t.
Also in CZ, when you wanna call on cat, you will shout či-či (Chi-Chi).
As somebody noted, Vegeta is selling at shops which is powder from vegetables as add-on to food.
Buu or Boo, is sound which cows are making.
Videl, when you write and say it as viděl, it's equivavelnt for ''I saw''. Also useable as answer ''I saw that''.
Babidi, if you'll read it as babi di, it's pretty rude and rack way to say to some old lady on the street:
''Move along grandma''. It's of course useable for you to say to your grandma in theory,
but nobody will adress his elder like that.

In addition, when somebody in Japanese says kore wa, it is a lot simmilar to kurva, which means b**ch.
FighterZ, Street Fighter 6, Mortal Kombat: Funky_Strudel

Trust me, I'm millenial and a designer.

This confused a ton of people at my school back when DBZ was airing. Am I the only person who both reads the subtitles and listens at the same time? Everyone would assume that since the subs read "Tien", it was "Ten" in English, so that's what they called the character.

(Of course, it could also be taken as a shortening of his real name, but they probably weren't smart enough to research that.)

Don't forget. Sauzer for salsa although for the thousand island pun. Paikkuhan for pecans, the latter of pork-rib-rice.

Chichi in Portuguese means piss.
...which is probably why she was renamed to Kika in the Portuguese dub.

Aside from translating to "another world" in Namekian, "Piccolo" is the Italian word for "small," but more specifically in this particular case refers to a type of tiny flute. From this stems the instrument-themed names of King Piccolo's various demon spawn.

"Popo" mean "Grandma" in Kek(It's Chinese but not official!) in fact I call my grandma with Popo all the time!
"Saiya" is slang for "I'm" and "Jin" mean "Genie" in Indonesia. so if you say that on Indonesia, people gonna laugh at you because you said "I'm Genie"!
