Yea they could of drawn a much better Vegeta pose, but of course FUNimation had to redraw the over 9000 meme scene with the scouter breaking u.u; Typical of them XD.

Yea they could of drawn a much better Vegeta pose, but of course FUNimation had to redraw the over 9000 meme scene with the scouter breaking u.u; Typical of them XD.

Yeah, seriously. I was saying earlier how they must really love the meme of 9000. Of course they adopt it when it's already overused and unfunny. I'm hoping they change it, but knowing them, they won't. But you gotta admit, it is better than Season One Vegeta.

I'm probably the only one, but I actually like the season one art better. At least it actually looks like Vegeta. Whenever they try to redraw Vegeta in the "current" art style, he always looks like he has overly long limbs and a rubber, melted face. He's just hideous. Same goes for what he looks like in the opening animation too, and I don't just mean the in-between shots.

But, Funi doesn't draw their own art. They send concept sketches over to Japan, and they commission the work to be made.

The cover looks fine, even if the choice of pose was in the last set (then again, Vegeta does break another Scouter while on Namek, and several Scouters are destroyed by Old Man Green).

Ah, you gotta point there. Kai's Vegeta cover has purple hair too, yuk. Honestly the only problem I have with season set Vegeta is his eye pupils either being too small or cross eyed and looks kinda fat. The Kai cover has a bunch of problems.

The problem with the cover is that angle. No matter how great an artist you are, you can't make somebody in that position, from that angle look like they're doing anything other than sitting or humping the air.

I'll never get use to the white background. It's so distracting and doesn't bring out the image. It should have been another color or a dark color like Black.
