I'm gonna guess it... even though I'm at work, and I know it starts at 8... can that count?

I really would like to try and win the DBZ Kai DVD.

Wow.. Sean was right, you really can't tell it's a male

Though I do like how sinister it sounds. But still we'll have to hear more lines if we are to truly judge it

The contest is now over! :p

So far, I like it... very sinister, very evil, and yet sounds creepy.

What, where did that clip come from?

Also the voice... Haven't heard enough yet, but meh... It sounds too much like a man trying to impersonate Pauline Newstone's Frieza voice, and the laugh is still a generic "hahaha" instead of Frieza's pompous "Ohohohoho!". Sounds a bit over-hyped so far, but I'm guessing within the next few episodes that will improve.

Something still seems wrong about Freeza's voice.

More like Pauline Newstone 2.0. What the fuck?

Um.... it doesn't sound all that different to me... Kinda like Linda Young but without the 'over-the-top granny-rasp'. Dude could have made the voice a little deeper. We needed an all-new voice, not someone trying to imitate Linda....

Edit: Alright. I over reacted.

Still don't like this voice, but I'll give it another episode to see if it improves.

What if they're having him voice Freeza like that for the broadcast but not the uncut. 'Cause there's no point in recasting Freeza if you're gonna have a male doing Pauline Newstone's Freeza. It's still only one line though, so we probably gotta give it time to develop.

It sounds more like Newstone than Young.

I doubt they would make him do everything twice in two different voices.

That sounds too much like the Ocean Frieza. Yuck. I'd take Linda Young over that any day.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

I didn't care much at first cause Linda should have never voiced Freeza to begin with.... but after hearing someone trying to imitate her, I feel sick that she was replaced and they made her cry over that. If anything, they could have told HER to lose the rasp and deepen the voice a bit, and they could have kept her after all.

Hopefully the guy did this one line to kinda ease people into the new voice (after all, we still heard Linda laugh in episode one) and maybe he'll sound better in the next episode...?
