I see your point. With all the roundish eyes and cheek lines Toriyama's recent art seems to suffer from this quite regularly. The head seems to be a tad too big too.

Especially that one SSJ4 he drew had exactly the same problem.





Still love the way he drew Vegeta, Trunks, Cell and Frieza there though!

What's your methodology? Other than 'painstaking, time consuming work,' which is what I assume this is.

We do the linearts with Paint Tool Sai and the colouring with Photoshop^^

I SEE SIGMA AND NOVA! Thats pretty cool man, I wish I had the room to display my DBZ figures like that. Instead, I have a Halo room, every inch of the walls are covered by my Halo action figures along with 2 life size Spartans in the middle of the room
