Do you think there was any saga done better in the anime?

Trunks special blows the manga version out of the water for sure.

Does the Burdock special count? I know it was an animated feature first, but I think we can all say the special was better than the two panels of lip service Toriyama gave it. Other than that, the most obvious choice for me is the Cell Games, if only for the scene where the team finally rubs its two brain cells together and decides to attack Cell all at once. Granted, Gohan's obviously doing all the heavy lifting, but the scene was so awesome that it almost made up for the COUNTLESS times that one hero went up against the super-powerful villain of the day while the rest of the team sat back, each waiting for his turn to die.

I would like to be funny and say the Otherworld Arc, but as a filler arc, I would say it was the worst executed.
I can enjoy most of the filler, but this one is poorly animated, and the story is poor.
And Daio Kaio is so horrible and annoying.

I would like to say that Gohan's training with Piccolo and in the wilderness was pretty well executed.

Fully agreed, plus I'm in the "counts the Bardock special as canon despite not being written by Toriyama" crowd.

The Saiyan Saga for reasons already mentioned. I have yet to actually read the Boo saga in the manga. I really have to catch up on that one day.
