The Worst Looking Episode in the Entire Series?
I'm curious if we can find the single lowest art quality episode in the entire run of Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT. The episode that pops into my mind right off the bat is the Trunks episode right after Trunks slices Freeza in two. Everything was very off model. Can you guys think of a lower quality episode?
Edit:
Um yeah guys, that doesn't mean pick out random funny in between shots.Try finding an entire episode that looks bad, not one with a few weird frames or frames you were never meant to see. Thank you.

Re: The Worst Drawn Episode in the Entire Series?
Everytime I see a random Buu arc screenshot, I see something odd. When the DBOX gets to that point, I'll be on the lookout. honestly, I think that episode you mentioned gets a lot of flak simply because it's right next to an episode that looked great.
I'd bet serious money on the "worst" looking episode being from the Buu arc.

How about those episodes where "Super Vegeta" was fighting semi-complete Cell?

Without a doubt, the episode where Goku fights Freeza and Cell in Hell. They look horrible.

Episode 156 and Episode 169.

I don't think anything else needs to be said.

You mean episode 195, I don't know if I would say the animation was bad in that episode, I did however think that they changed over to newer character model styles. I mean, it didn't seem like it was different enough that it would clash with Toriyama's art style, but I did feel it was different. Like how the character where more animated in there movements. Sorry if I'm not describing what I mean well.NeoKING wrote:Without a doubt, the episode where Goku fights Freeza and Cell in Hell. They look horrible.

Even if you don't compare it to the previous episode, it's animation really sucks crap by itself:

Episode 51 is just painful to watch

84 can be really bad at times too

27 is just horrid

265 and 178 are really bad too but I don't have screencaps at the moment

There's a bit where Super Vegeta is decimating Cell, and then he uses that smirk and thumb pose that is on pretty much every piece of merchandise with him in it/on it. As it zooms out for the next episode preview, his face completely changes and it gets all messed up.
I'll have some screen shots in a second...

My mind instantly went to this:jjgp1112 wrote:

That whole episode's animation sucked. I believe it was done by the "Pale Cartoony" style team, who seemed to forget that Vegeta's muscles were supposed to be much larger... That art style started out decent, but after the Frieza arc it completely fell apart.Supa Saiya-Jin Tullece wrote:There's a bit where Super Vegeta is decimating Cell, and then he uses that smirk and thumb pose that is on pretty much every piece of merchandise with him in it/on it. Re: The Worst Looking Episode in the Entire Series?
Huh? The first image is from the awesome Studio Cockpit, and the Vegeta one is also from a well animated episode. You just took the image as he was blinking. How does that make it one of the worst animated episodes? Your 19 image and Vegeta talking next to Supreme Kai are simply in-between shots.Khalid Shahin wrote:
