Hopefully that date of release (December) is just a mistake.

I doubt it, as the date changed FROM July to December almost as soon as that review showed up. Even if entering the release date is as simple as a drop-down menu, July would be nowhere near December. If that's not the case, then RightStuf's grunt workers aren't paying attention.jordanator wrote:Hopefully that date of release (December) is just a mistake.

Well if it does release in December, Funi should speed up the Dragon Boxes, and make Dragon Box 4 available in July. That would make many people happy.B wrote:I doubt it, as the date changed FROM July to December almost as soon as that review showed up. Hopefully the far away release date means that they're redubbing it.jordanator wrote:Hopefully that date of release (December) is just a mistake.

One question: If I already own these 2 exact sets...

...what could I gain from importing the US blue brick sets?

I think the Blue Bricks are more remastered or something, but I think you should just stick with the Madman sets.mikezilla2 wrote:One question: If I already own these 2 exact sets...

It could have been printed before the change.B wrote:I doubt it, as the date changed FROM July to December almost as soon as that review showed up. The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

I figured as much, though the Madman set I've got is 1 fat pack + a reissued box to wrap around some old stuff (most of the fat pack collection 2 sets I went through were faulty), so just wondering what I'm missing out on from these current sets... any video or air brushing removed?Piccolo Daimaoh wrote:I think the Blue Bricks are more remastered or something, but I think you should just stick with the Madman sets.mikezilla2 wrote:One question: If I already own these 2 exact sets...

The most awesome thing about season 5 is the Tenkaichi Budokai arc thing!

FYI. Sears.com, of all places, has Season 5 for $26.99

Side note: unlike most e-shopping expect to pay tax since Sears most likely operates in your state but on a plus the shipping is only 99 cents!
Oh and check out the rest of the anime section- I feel like I spotted some pretty off the wall selection, pages and pages altogether... not sure where this is really being distributed from because I doubt its carried in brick&mortar Sears.

Re: Dragon Ball Season 5 and Blood Rubies in TRSI Catalog
I may get Season 5. I only have Season 1 so far. So I'm going to wait out to see what they do after they release the 5th. Cuz I'd be pissed if they pull a DBZ on me and release a Dragon Box version right after I got all 5. Learned my lesson after that nonsense

Great, Amazon is telling me my pre-order of Blood Rubies won't be shipped until January 2011.

JANUARY?! Six months isn't enough notice for them to get their pre-order shipments ready?Travis Touchdown wrote:Great, Amazon is telling me my pre-order of Blood Rubies won't be shipped until January 2011.
