What's your first Dragonball memory?

My first memory of Dragonball was the filler episode in DBZ where Yamcha fought in a riot on the baseball field.
I apologize if this has been done before.

As for the show itself: "Hey! It's that weird-hair guy I got a toy of a couple of years ago, glowing and fighting a giant crazy-lookin' green guy with background music that I am embarrassed to hear. I am horrified, yet mesmerized...must keep watching..."
(My excuse for not getting into DBZ earlier is that I didn't have cable during its first years...)

Though yes, I do feel like this topic was done before in the fairly recent past. Maybe not exactly the same thing though...

I got a really crappy all-green Piccolo toy from a capsule-toy dispenser. Had no clue what the fuck it was.

My first memory was in... '97 or '98 I believe, and it was the episode where Bulma, Krillin and Gohan take off for Namek. I thought Krillin told Gohan that he "looks just like Goku" when he saw his new haircut, which was odd since that was the first time I had seen the series, so where I got the "Goku" part from I have no idea, needless to say, I was surprised when I saw that he never said that when I re-watched the episode during the next Radditz through Ginyu Force rerun.

Once in 1995. I turned on the TV. "BUM BUM BUM. DRAGONBALL!" I love that song .

I can't remember the first, but I do remember I was watching Dragon Ball Z at my friends house and was really excited when Gohan beat Cell. That is the earliest I can remember unfortunately.

My earliest DragonBall memory was seeing episodes of the Androids arc on TV at my grandparents' house, namely an episode where everyone was hunting the landscape for the fleeing Dr. Gero. It must have been a rerun or something, because it wasn't too much longer thereafter that the Majin Boo arc was playing, and that was when it actually caught my interest.

Some time in 1997... My first memory was the episode where Gohan became an Oozaru and Piccolo had to stop his rampage. Although back then, for some reason, I was convinced it was Goku and not Gohan. Me and my friend kept on arguing about it. lol

So apparently even before my first memory, I had seen Dragoball, but I can't recall unfortunately.

I caught the first episode at 6AM on the FOX Network of the Saban dub. It was the first time I had ever pulled an all-nighter by myself. I was in my grandmothers front room.

I saw an episode of the Saiyan arc when Moltar was still the host on Toonami back in 1997. Can't remember which episode though....

I remember a lot of kids talking about it at school back then as well.

Seeing the original Final Bout case at Blockbuster and having no clue who the guy on the cover was but knowing I liked his character design.
I never rented it because I didn't own a Playstation.
(God, just looking at that image makes me wish GT hadn't shrunk Goku down to a child for the entire length of the series sans ssj4. TT_TT )

My first memory of knowing what Dragon Ball itself was though had to have been watching it on Toonami in the summer of 2000. I only flipped to Cartoon Network and found the show funnily enough because there wasn't anything interesting on Nickelodeon at that time of day. (Yet Nick's the one that has Kai now.)
