Holy shit, I can't believe how violent this episode is. All things considered I was expecting a lot more to be cut with Vegeta's attack on the village...man, ten years ago, I could never have imagined we'd see the day that such a thing could happen.

Also, Kuririn's line at the end of the episode..."it's times like these that I really wish I had a mother to call"...I seriously thought he was going to go for the shoe salesman line. I have a feeling that was kinda intentional >_>;

The shoe salesman line comes when Frieza transforms into his third form.

Was it just me or did Dende say "107 brothers and sisters" and then they went on to say how there was only one type of Namekian...?

Those two lines made me cringe. Dende's because it directly contradicted what he just said and Kuririn's because it was just plain stupid.

That's a possibility too. It wouldn't be as cool, but it would be as cool as the fact that Krillin's Japanese actress is in the Japanese One Piece, and his FUNimation dub actor is in the FUNimation dub of One Piece, despite playing a different role.

I believe the line in the redub went something like "Oh who am I kidding, I'm gonna get creamed out there. I'm gonna die and I never even had a girlfriend." Not exact words but it's what I remember.

One of us should get on that then. Seriously though, do you think it might have been some kind of stupid edit done on purpose for the tv version? I can't really think of a good reason for it though as they pretty much left in Bulma's "one gender would be boring" line.

Considering the brilliant handling of Freeza dialogue, witless seems a little harsh for what appears to be a minor fuck up. I assume the married line will be in the uncut version too.

But yeah, most likely it's an edited line. Maybe Bulma asked if some of their people have boobs. Could be something they might want to censor, I suppose.

While "sisters" isn't wrong at all compared to "brothers", "brothers and sisters" implies that there are two genders. If by any chance Funi pick up on this before the DVD thanks to fan realization, the gender neutral "siblings" would be a good alternative?
