Future Kai DUB Re-casts speculation

I was responding to linkdude20002001 and trying to get back on topic, are we not Allowed to talk about Nadolny's performance in this thread anymore? If so then I guess I'll have to shut up.

I admit I am guilty of laying on the sarcasm but I'll defend the point that I never have resorted to childish name calling/personal attacks even when debates get heated. To be fair, I think at least some of my remarks are justified as several of my Kai topics have been derailed, I don't think I alone should be accused of "flame baiting". So excuse me for getting a little irritated at the DBZ dub crowd.

So, future Kai recasts? Ginyu Force should be showing up next week? All-Star cast for the Ginyu Force?

I can't remember, has it been confirmed that all five members will have new actors?

Allowed, not aloud (just irked me), but it's not wrong as long as you do so in a civil manner, as opposed to having an attitude about it. Actually give good, detailed, legitimate reasons, as opposed to flamebait such as "Her "distressed sounds" and crying is SOOO unnatural and annoying. "WAHAUEHEHE-WUH-WAHAHAE"".

Shit, I missed that.

Well, the only completely confirmed ones have been Burter and Guldo. Ginyu wasn't confirmed, but it's only logical to assume that he will be recast, as Brice Armstrong, his previous actor, has retired from voice acting.

They didn't really confirm it. Sabat just vaguely said something about dropping roles and that we're gonna love the Ginyu Force. It was just a hint, really.

What about the "All-Star Ginyu Force" statement? What about Kirbopher stating that he knew of two Ginyu Force recasts? KaiserNeko seems to be in the know, and he made a post:

I'll say this about the two Ginyu voices we currently know of.

One is green, one is blue, neither are Sabat, and both are new.

It may be possible that he will return for Recoome though, as people around him have commented that he wants to keep that role. I hope that if he does return, that he doesn't use the same voice and direction he used in Z's dub...

Oh dear Dende, I sure hope so. If the only Ginyu Force member's voice to NOT change is Reacoom... not even every other member being dead-on awesome would make up for it...

I'll have to get around to doing that comparison, but the best example are probably from the re-dub with Nadolny's is 4 year old Gohan. Her "distressed sounds" and crying is SOOO unnatural and annoying. "WAHAUEHEHE-WUH-WAHAHAE"

You should. 'Cause that would save me from having to sit through the English dub just to find those really awful noises. I honestly have no idea how one would write out those sounds, but I think you pretty much got the gist of it.

Anyway, While I have no doubt Sabat with his current acting talent could pull off a better Recoome. I say recast for just the simple point of keeping variety amongst the voices. Hearing a new great non-Sabat Zarbon alone has been most refreshing.

Normally I'd agree with you but the fact that he feels the need to keep the voice makes me think he enjoys doing the "Hurf Durf" delivery. In fact didn't Kirb say Sabat said some variation of he enjoys doing a certain Ginyu Force members voice so much he doesn't want to give it up?

If he can totally revamp the voice by all means I won't care but if it's going to be the same voice with the same delivery I'll be a very sad Dragon Ball fan.
