Yeah, because Dabra looks so much like Goku. They could be brothers.

Wow, for once I think they managed to fix the cape/hair problem we saw in previous games. Not once in any of the videos I saw did Dabura's cape go into his body. Hopefully they fixed that problem with the Super Saiyan 3 hair too.

Both videos have no volume, I couldn't tell.

What's with Freeza spewing out black ink every time he was hit? (Is that his aura or something? It looks weird.)

I think that's the graphical effect Dabra's hits have, instead of the regular whatchamacallit hit effect.

Anybody else hoping the devs might take a shot at not having us unlock characters and such, ala Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 and Super Street Fighter 4? I mean, think about it for a sec... We all pretty much know all about the Z-story. If they're gonna keep spewing out these games, doesn't it make sense to just give us what-ifs to play? How much longer do they think that we can keep tolerating playing through the same arcs over and over? Dudes just wanna pick up and play the game. That's all I play in terms of RB storymode, the what-ifs. It's a way to keep the Dragon Ball spirit alive, while not making us go through stuff we already know.

To answer a few of the latest posts:

- What Turles and Dabra were talking about was basically (based on memory only) "kneel before me and maybe I'll be kind enough to take you by my side" and "No one messes with Babidi".

- As far as I'm concerned, I want a story mode showing us the story again in each and every Dragon Ball game. The objective is to keep saying it over and over again with better graphics, better voices, better translations, etc... The only thing is that they've got to focus on important fights, they exagerated with the first Raging Blast showing Krilin VS Vegeta, Gohan VS Vegeta, the Saiyan invasion victims training and facing the Ginyu Commando.

But apart from that, may they do the story over and over again in a better way. Just like for the TV show: Kai is an update of Z, once they're done with Kai, I want them to make a remix, once this remix is over I want another remix, etc... The Dragon Ball story must be updated and stick to the latest technology for as long as it is humanly possible, always, and ESPECIALLY with video games that haven't been able to make a great story mode since Budokai 1! You must be able to watch the story you know and think: "man, with those graphics, it's like I discover it for the first time again, I can't wait to see the other renewed versions of the other characters in the hours to come"!

To be honest one of the most disappointing things about BT3 for me was the fact that all but about 10 characters were already available. I like to work for my roster (even if its the same roster for the 10th time).

Instead of the same boring 'beat the character to unlock them', I enjoyed what BT2 did for a lot of characters. It made you solve riddles by combining certain matching items (which included hints) to unlock certain characters and transformations, and you had to figure out what items went together to unlock which characters. It gave me a fairly entertaining challenge on top of just beating the crap out of people.

If this was expanded upon and included in future DB games it would give us more variety in terms of what has to be done in order to nab the unlockables, and would even allow us to test our DB knowledge in the process.

I like my games with a good 'ol fashion "Unlock All Characters" code.

That's the thing, though... Budokai 1 pretty much did have the perfect storymode in it. It was like, the Kai of back then. It went straight to the point, while also brilliantly re-creating the scenes we all know and love. Why continue, if that game already did it wonderfully?

I'm almost positive that Schemmel and company are tired as hell in saying the same lines all the time for so many years.

So ... Janemba's teleportation looks like it's just a cosmetically different version of Dragon Dashing, or whatever they've been calling that since Sparking! Meteor.

L1 while entering the shop.

I think Budokai 2 was the only game to have cheats.

That's the exact opposite of what I want, and it's the reason these games get no respect outside of the Dragonball community. These games are no better than the Madden games that come out yearly with only one or two updates from the past installments.

I believe there should be some sort of Story Mode but there is no reason to show the same exact thing over and over again. I want something like Budokai 2 or 3, where the story modes tells the same story but makes it fun at the same time. For example, having an over world to explore and interact with would be great. You could check out all the famous Dragonball locations and even do fun mini events that could earn you money, special items or even a Dragonball.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

Infinite World was a good compromise between Budokai 2 and 3 in terms of story mode.

Personally, I like it better just because you don't have to start the whole story over to get to one specific area/fight.

Yeah, Infinite World did a LOT of things much better than its predecessors. It would have been the perfect "Budokai" game... if it had any difficulty settings other than "brutal, incessant butt-rape."
