Are the Kai DVDs Region 1 coded?

Post by Kingdom Heartless » Sun Jul 04, 2010 12:11 pm

Because I'd rather not buy a Madman copy with a PAL conversion, I was wondering if I'd be able to play the Region 1 DVDs on any system here, like I can with the Dragon Boxes?

The Kai DVD is region 1. The Blu-Ray is region A and B.

Already answered above, but yes, the domestic Kai DVDs are indeed Region 1. It's the Blu-Rays that work for both Region A and B. A point I wish I'd known, as I could have bought the Blu-Ray instead. I don't have a Blu-Ray player myself, but I could at least play it on my friend's PS3 and see it on a big screen.

Do you mean region 4 since you're in Australia?..

Because they're region 1+4.

The regular DVDs and not just the Blu Rays?

The regular DVDs, both the DVDs and the Blu-ray Discs should play in Australia.
