Yes, whether it be a new Sabat take or a new voice all around!

Keep in mind that It's still pretty certain the uncut dub will have have a different delivery and dialogue, and even so, the TV version still blows Sabat's previous attempt out of the water. "When I find you...I'll kill you...! "your dehhhhhad!" Bleh, talk about under acting AND over acting at the same time. That "Season 1&2" re dub was such a waste of time.

For now Drummond still has the most intense delivery for that scene.

N-no that's a mock up of what it might look like 100x. Notice the little clock in the corner from the Japanese footage? Also notice how poorly the audio is mixed.

Yeah, but it seems to work better than "I'm AUSTRAILAN JEICE".

I'm happy with the dubbed Tokusentai Theme.

But, I thought Mr. Sabat said all the Ginyu Force was recast?
So, why still the derp-de-derp Recoome? It doesn't sound anywhere near as derp as the Video Games, but still.

Chris seems to have taken the "retard" approach and turned it into a more "meat-head" approach from the way it seems. I totally called Vic as Burter! But, I have to say, he doesn't sound like "Season Two" Burter, so I really think that it actually was Sabat playing him back then. Funny story, a couple of nights ago I had a dream about the new Ginyu Force, and it was correct in that Sabat still played Recoome and Vic was Burter... Though, Schemmel voiced Ginyu in that dream...

Wow, if Jeice is played by a female... Ginyu and Guldo sound pretty good too, and while "Ginyu Force Rules!" may not be in tone with "Go! Go! Power Rangers!", it still works with the goofy tone of the Ginyu Force.

There was talk about him not wanting to let that role go. From those two lines or so, it would appear that the "hehehehhurh i'mrecoomelolz" has been toned down a great deal, and while it's still far from perfect, it seems he has taken more of a muscular meat-head approach. We'll see tomorrow though.

How are these clips leaked so early though? And what the fuck is up with Chis Ayres' Frieza laugh... It sounds like nothing else he has done with the character, and sounds like he is trying to sound extremely like Linda Young...

Of course, I actually went in to edit my post to say "It's no where near as bad as say the video games, but still isn't 100% what I would've hoped for for Recoome."Basically, you worded it better.

I can understand wanting to hold on to a role; but, isn't playing Vegeta, Piccolo and Yamcha good enough?

I thought the audio was mixed well. The sound effects added to the atmosphere of the scene and I like it much more than Funi's Kai dub version.

So you think they should have went away from straight dubbing and added in poorly mixed background music and sound effects?

Maxey Whitehead is NOT Jeice. This was a glitch in the credits, the broadcast credits may be corrected and show who's really doing him. Everyone else is correct.

From what I just heard:

Recoome: To me he sounds exactly the same as before which to me is not great.
Burter: Totally called that Vic would be playing him, and he sounds great here. Now that rumor of him playing Burter can be put to rest now that he is playing Burter in Kai.
Jeice: It's sad to see that Aussie Jeice is gone, but just from one line I can't really judge his voice yet.
Guldo: Sounds perfect to me even though I thought there was nothing wrong with Bill Townsley's performance.
Ginyu: Good voice even though it's sad to see Brice Armstrong not voicing him again since he retired.

It also sounds like Chris Sabat is singing the insert song.

I was talking about the voices and sound effects. The sound effects helped make the Ginyu entrance more "dramatic" per say. I don't hear any background music except the Japanese bgm.

My words on the clip exactly. I actually like the English better, in Japanese they chant 'Tokusentai" Special Task Force. They English just comes off as, yeah we're silly; but we're awesome about it; which is more in-character for the Ginyu Force.

Is Sabat the only one singing in English? That's what it sounds like.
