=nervous laugh= Yes... funny you should mention that.

Cause, um... one of the staffers at the con ending up bidding on those three Daizenshuu (1, 5, and 7). She told me that there were three hardcover artbooks that no one was bidding on, so she did. She won them all for twelve dollars.

Then she found me, asked if I collected DB artbooks, to which I replied well, yeah. And to this she said, well I won three Dragonball artbooks at the charity auction. I only bid on them cause I thought you might want them. If you want them they're all yours - just stop by con ops in like ten minutes.

And that was when I discovered that artbooks meant Daizenshuu (doi, right?), and that three Daizenshuu had just come into my posession for free. Yes. Please don't hate me. ;-;

On another note, my report and photos are here. And hells yeah I was cosplaying.

Oh God.

I'm not really the first one to bitch about cosplay and whatnot, but here I have to agree with lost in thought, some of these pictures just scream "Lame Fanboy-o-rama".

Yeah but some of them are suprisingly good, the ANBU and Zabuza from Naruto stood out as exceptional to me.

Hey, I took some good cosplay photos too... None from DBZ or Naruto, though. Where were you, Maggie?

Anyway, yes, if y'all're interested, I can post some. It was funny as hell when I was in the line for Ishida Yoko's autograph (shut up, I'm a fanboy. And she signed an extra one for a friend, so I automatically love her) and a Duo cosplayer (who I got a pic of) instigated a conversation discussing a shounen-ai manga I was reading...

So.. uhm... yeah.

Nice pics. Reminds me of the ones I took at Sakura Con last month. I also did the cosplay thing.

That's Captain Frog. It's an anime series.

O.o Captain Frog, who in the name of HFIL would know something that obscure?

It looks like the frog outta lylat wars/star fox to me. Well apart from the afro <.< >.>

Captain Frog? Sounds like a DBZ spin-off series about Ginyu Force.

Well if you read Maggie's journal, I'm pretty sure she gave the name too. So there. XP

Sergeant Frog, actually (Keroro Gunsou, ok, actually more like Sergeant Ribbit, but whatever).

And it gets even more obscure! This costume is cosplaying the closing credits to the anime. The closing theme is called Afuro Gunsou (Sergeant Afro), and in the closing Keroro disco dances while sporting a disco suit and an awesome afro (at least towards the end of the song).

It's just a Saturday morning kids show on TV Tokyo, but it's still funny as hell. If you ever feel like watching something silly, I'd highly recommend downloading a couple episodes (it's not liscenced yet, so it's still legit).

You think you're bad, I'm going to be waiting in line for Sanada Asami's (Dejiko) autograph in a couple weeks. Yeah, a 20-year-old guy waiting to get an autograph from an actor who voices a show intended for 5-year-old girls... Talk about lame, nyo! :P
