I'll be surprised if we get any other extras whatsoever. I'd love if this whole "textless openings/endings" thing was the start of a trend for the last four DBox sets, but I'm not betting on it. Personally, I'm just happy that we got the episodes in the first place. It seemed to be a lost cause after the Orange Bricks made their way to us.

Speaking of, what extras (not counting the Specials) would you like to see the most if FUNi did put more extras on the remaining DBox sets? Personally, I'd like to see:

- Raw archival footage of the third "CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA" opening animation and the "WE GOTTA POWER" opening animation.
- DragonBall Z Product Advertisements (Japanese, of course)

I'm hoping the space that will be left on the disc 42 will be filled up by the Specials.
And Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans should be included somewhere, too.

The trailer said "41 episodes" that's probably right! they need an extra space for the extras!

No, the trailer said OVER 41 episodes, and the box art confirms that it's 42 episodes.

Another thing I've noticed on the RightStuf listing for DBox 4 that's different from the other listings is that the 48-page booklet isn't listed but the textless OP/EDs are. If there's any truth to this rumor of the "extra disc" maybe it'll go where the booklet normally goes? I don't see why they'd need an extra disc for it but whatever.

Don't worry if there is no book, though. They can cover everything in the Japanese Dragonbooks over 6 sets at 48 pages each.

Oh thank god!, I can't wait till they start the "Japanese Dragonbox Vol.2" dragonbook. But exactly what is the extra 50 going to be? The textless opening and ending would be about 2-minutes, but what of the extra 48-minutes?

But there still has to be a book, at least for the episode guide. I don't think there's any way to work around that.

Yeah, you're right. It wouldn't make sense for FUNimation to not make a Dragonbook for "Vol.4", because where are you going to put the episode guide for 127-168 in?

Very true! I'm guessing that the textless OPs/EDs will be on one of the regular six discs, then, as I originally thought.

But I can't, that's how life is. Time is a bitch. The party is over. Kageyama, Kikuchi, and Maeda are off the sauce now; Yanami almost OD'd; Yamamoto got arrested; Toriyama's not going to light trash cans on fire and hang from the chandelier anymore. We can't get the band back together, and even if we could, everyone's either old, in poor health, or calmed way the fuck down. Best we're going to get, and are getting, is a party that's almost entirely devoid of the magic that made the original one so awesome that we even want more.

I think there will be a Dragon Book.

An extra disc could go inside the Dragonbook if there was one of those plastic or cloth disc holders attached, or maybe one of those regular digipack plastic things attached to the inside of the back cover... I'm not saying there might be one thought.

Or they could just add an extra slot above one of the single sides. Y'know how one side of the case the discs are overlapped, and on the other, there's just one disc. Add another overlapped slot and vualla.

They wouldn't be able to do that and keep the same thickness. If you notice, the overlapping side is slightly thicker than the single disc side. Two overlapping sides would make for a thicker case.

Sorry for going off-topic, but how do you post images? I can see the Img/image button, but what link/code do I insert in it? Cheers, and once again, sorry for the randomness.

As for extras, yes. We were talking about them in another DBox 4 thread related to an "extra disc" rumor. Looks like we'll be getting textless OP/ED. Because of this, it also opens up speculation for other extras in the later boxes. :D

Even if that were true (it might be, I didn't check the date on that thread), there's really no reason to even gloat about it. Now, if you're the first one to get your hands on DBox 4 and you put up high-res scans of it...
