I don't think Transformations will be LoG4

Judging by these screenshots, it looks like Transformations won't be the next LoG game. Looks more like Streets of Rage, Final Fight, Golden Axe etc.

No, it's pretty much officially LOG4. Go to the main site and Mike has a link to the official site. Check the URL.

Ugh, if it is indeed Legacy of Goku 4, that would just kill the series' whole perspective.
I was voted "most unique" and "most likely to become the next existential thinker" in high school.

Eh, the Legacy games had become kind of stale I thought. And this game might still have RPG elements just from a side-perspective (Think Zelda II: Adventure of Link).

Either way I welcome an attempt at doing something different if only because I think the series actually took a few steps backwards in the 3rd installment.

In what way did it take steps backwards? I thought the controls were easier to use at least in LOG3.
On hiatus.

I thought the level design was really bland and that the enemies outside of bosses were so weak that they could of not put them in the game at all and the experience would of been pretty much the same. Basically you leveled up so quickly that unless it was a boss fight (and honestly not even then) you really never needed to worry about healing.

Basically I'm saying that I think the gameplay balance and level design went downhill when compared to that of LoG 2.

It does look like it's leaning a lot more towards a beat-em-up than an action rpg. I don't really care myself (I don't even have a GBA), but I think the GT world would've been more suited to RPG exploring than the Z world was. Yet ironically, they let you explore the Z world but not the GT world (assuming this game IS a beat-em-up).

Anyone else think Goku's pants look a little weird in that first screenshot? Though, maybe it's just being animated from the powerup, and it just looks weird as a screen capture.

I'm pretty sure I didn't see that on the front page before I made this thread. I could have sworn I double checked, as I actually saw these screens at least a day before I made this thread.
*shrugs*
Well I was only going by the screen shots and to me it didn't look like a LoG style game, hence the thread title.

Can anybody say Dragon Ball GT: Advance Adventure? :p

I think this will be the first GBA DB game I actually buy as opposed to get the ROM for screengrabs and sprite rips. I love beat-'em-ups.
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

THIS GAME LOOKS SICK! I can't wait 'till it's out! =o

Yeah, and it looks awesome. I hope you can transform into Super Saiyan at will, like the Budokais. That would be so cool.

When the hell did "sick" mean "cool"?

The younger kids I work with seem to use it the same way, guess it's a recent thing.

Back on the topic of this game though, those backgrounds from the few shots we've seen are just incredible for a GBA game. For sure the best I've seen on the GBA.
