Goku's spaceship has the best dub voice, IMO.

It would be amusing if the dub changed from Funi to Ocean for the rest of the Ginyu episodes onwards, in a reversal of what happened almost a decade ago.

In that case, Canada will get the FUNimation cast.
A Dragon Ball/Urusei Yatsura crossover would be awesome.
Having Toshio Furukawa balance between Piccolo and Ataru would be hilarious.

Couldn't resist.

Scott McNeil was great as Piccolo. Even his ridiculous rock star screams were awesome.

It's really no worse than "Rock the Dragon" or that shitty guitar riff for Funimation season 3.

You mean for season four. Season three still used "Rock the Dragon".

Good Kami, it's 2003 all over again. Back when everyone was pretending to be 'gangsters.'

And that's the downside. But since Canada didn't get Ocean back until mid Cell Games, we can have Canada get the Ocean dub from the Ginyu saga in our reversal scenario.

Better than synthesised jibber jabber.

But that would be nostalgic, plus some of the battle themes in the Westwood dub are pretty damn good.

Yeah :D
Piccolo Daimaoh wrote: And have to hear something like this? No thanks.
Ah but this time, it'll be "Dragon Dragon Ball....Dragon Ball KAIII"

That and Rock the Dragon intro are similar, I like both of them.

Not even nostalgia can save that horrid intro. Although personally I have no nostalgia of it since I didn't watch it at all after seeing what it was like the first time.

Hmm...I'm watching the episode right now.
I don't remember that mutation line from Ginyu on the Dragon Box...

Am I the only one feeling nostalgic watching these particular episodes? Amazing episode tonight. I never thought I'd say this but I prefer Kai to Z. Easily.
I completely respect your opinion, and I respect you. I enjoyed discussing this with you, even if I don't completely agree.

As I said in the other thread, is cool to see these episodes finally getting a good dub.

...did I mishear, or when Vegeta is telling Gokou he can't possibly defeat Freeza, did he say 'don't underestimate your own strength'...?
