Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

Goku blocks with the side of his Forearm with fingers still extended to channel Ki to strengthen his arm.
I'm pretty sure the stances between two fighters usually represents who's going to start offense and who's defense.

Not necessarily. Vegeta's stance makes him look more menacing, wild, and brutal. Son Goku's stance is similar to martial arts. Goku is like a martial artist and Vegeta is like a street fighter, only more refined.

Maybe if they were fighting with Samurai Swords yes. But Vegeta takes this stance often as does Goku in their various fights.

Yes, from what I saw, I'd say you're right. Vegeta was leaning on his back leg more while Goku was leaning forward, so Vegeta was basically challenging Goku to attack first (which fits Vegeta's style and personality nicely).

(As a side question, does a post exactly one week after the last post count as necroposting? If so, then I'm so sorry. I didn't think that a week was so bad, especially since the topic was so near the top, but I'm not sure.)
What's scarier than a DBZ H-game?

You're ok, veshira.

Maybe it wasn't necessarily an offensive/defensive stance in this situation, but generally in more formal combatitive settings like the Tournaments, the characters will appear in such form.
