So pretty much in the end of this interview (last 1:00 left) he comments on how there will most likely be further edits to the already existing broadcast version of Dragonball Z Kai that is playing on Nicktoons. I don't know what there gonna do, but it's 4Kids so you'll probably see close to Saban level editing.

So what do you guys think, will 4Kids do terrible damage with the editing?

I just finished listening to the interview as I saw this post.

Anyways, as for the edits they will probably remove all traces of blood i.e. not even chocolate milk colored blood etc. Probably also remove Ghurd's head completely and stuff such as that. They will change the theme song most likely too.

I may watch a few episodes though to see what kind of editing they do though.

I'm certain they will entirely remove all fighting, including and punches and ki blasts, and any sort of mention to death whatsoever, including the dancing around of it, meaning not even the "I will end you" type of dialogue will be omitted.

That was a really interesting listen. I loved hearing all the stuff about One Piece, and their goals when 4Kids licenses a series. I'm think it's cool that they'll have an uncut streaming option online, too. Hopefully the things they talk about will stop all the screaming 12-14 year olds who send hate mail about One Piece and Pokemon.

Yes, but I am pretty sure they panned over the screen Ghurd's head was visible but it wasn't shown decapitated.

They will probably bring back: "I WILL SEND YOU TO THE NEXT DIMENSION!"

Well, I think the Nicktoons broadcast has done a great job at editing tastefully*, so there's no need for 4Kids to edit it even further. The only way I'll be enraged is if they change the music...they had BETTER not do that.

*Clarification: I don't like editing and think everything is always better uncut, but I don't...hate edits as long as they edit out only what's necessary and don't do anything superflous. Like complete dialogue changes and the removal of the original music (removing the original music is the worst possible edit to an anime you can make in my opinion).

Nicktoons have done a great job editing it for television IMO, but the CW wants the edits to be as kid friendly as possible. Which means no hitting, no swearing, no alcohol, no reference to death, etc.
