Well, here's my take on the concept introduced by Innagadadavida. But with Death Note, it still references Dragon Ball and Goku a lot too so hopefully it still fits here:

As what Zuhalter2000 said, this could easily become the next Dragon Ball based meme.

And diving further he's used Death Note BGM for songs. The ones I could pick out so far are "Live Life" and 'Long Journey'. From a mix tape titled Death Note.

I think you guys kind of took this a little too far. First of all the song is indeed terrible but he's just a kid who grew up watching Dragon Ball Z. You can clearly hear that he's just rapping any thought that comes to his head (which he is horrible at doing). This is not going to be on an album or anything that's going to major retail stores. Also soulja boy is not a gangster, again he's just a boy who grew up watching anime/dragon ball and I think everyone's reaction was a bit closed minded. It would do a whole lot of good for the anime industry if a new audience took interest in it as well. The song is ridiculously horrible but in my opinion the way anime sales are going down the tubes lately, if this kid can bring in some of his teeny bopper fans into anime then why not.

I doubt anyone here is genuinely offended/angry. Like you said, if he brings in any new fans, then that's great. We're all just having some fun and getting a good laugh out of the situation.
