I honestly don't think that's the case. I really believe anime had some sort of impact on his life. He grew up without a farther IIRC. He likely looked at Goku as some kind of role model or a father figure. Like what DbzFanboy stated, he's just an arrogant kid that likes anime and knows how to rap.

As I said before I don't care what he does with his spare time (although it would be nice if "making bad music" would be erased from his hobbies list). Without making large leaps in logic you can't assume he loves anime by these songs. That's just the one point I wanted to make. The only kids that DO enjoy his music are ADD fucking morons, which unfortunately compromises a large portion of the American youth.

Soulja boy has been dissed countless times by OTHER rappers even, it's people like him that are killing hip-hop.

There's a lot more to hip hop than just money, sex and drugs. Listen to underground rappers instead of the mainstream bullshit, they can really lyrically convey a message.

Half of his "lyrics" are him droning out or just fucking jibberish. He's not good, at fucking all, he just manages to sell well.

Also, SB is just rapping about whatever comes to mind (stupid random shit at that). Personally, I'm used to dudes rapping like that. Not I like him, but I don't hate him (what the hell for?). Shit man, at my school, everyday people would go to a table, make a beat on it, and just freestyle about same thing SB and others rap about.
