This is a fandub of the scene where Vegeta truly believes he's a Super Saiyan. Along with Saiyan Blood, the lyrics are credit to Kaboom.

I had to make a crappy audacity instrumental. I couldn't find a full-quality real one or at least a decent one.

I altered Freeza's voice slightly to be more like Chris Ayres' Freeza; but it really just sounds like a higher pitched version of my normal Freeza voice.

Ah, I think that's adjusting to the voice (Vegeta) for a more serious fandub. Since I've gotten more used to used to doing parodies and using the "LOL, Sabat Vegeta" voice. Freeza's had a slight alteration. Krillin, Gohan, Goku and Piccolo sound the same as I usually do their voice. Although this is only the second time with Piccolo.

But, if it's everyone than, damn. I gotta brush up a bit on serious ones.
Being that calm for Vegeta isn't out-of-character; but, you're right it's not entirely appropriate for this scene.

This one wasn't a parody, right? Because between the poor acting, the badly sung "Saiyan Blood" and everyone basically having the same monotonous voice, it sounded like it was. May I suggest working on your acting and refining the dialogue by spending more time recording, or maybe getting some of your friends to voice some of the other characters so everyone doesn't sound similar.

Haha, you're probably right. On the next serious dub I'll get more people. I should stick to parodies shouldn't I? Haha.

I can do serious dubs. But, eh. I guess just not Dragon Ball. But, than again I was lazily tweaking fansub dialouge which probably why it came off monotone. I won't let it bother me 'cause I don't care enough to change it. I'll wait a bit before doing an actual not-parody fandub again.

But, than again I did rush it so I could get working on a parody, so maybe that's it. (It's an Abridged special of A Hero's Legacy actually.)

That's fine. I can take criticism either way.

But, since this one came out not so well. If I had to say a better serious fandub I've done is "Freeza's realization, find a Namekian!" the same script as the actual Kai dub; with the wording tweaked a bit and probably doesn't come off anywhere near as monotone as this.
