DBZ singing?

Post by dragonpearls » Mon May 23, 2005 7:15 pm

Other than Vegita and Gohan singing (those are the only ones I’ve heard), were there any other character that sang?

There were two DBZ CDs released that featured the voice-actors doing songs in-character. These include Chichi and Gohan (singing karaoke O_o), Kuririn, Vegeta, Bulma, Kame-sen'nin, and Kaiô-sama (doing very bad stand-up).

In addition, there are several in-character DB songs, sung by Goku (as a child), Kame-sen'nin, and Yamcha. :)

XDDDDDDDDDD I loved Vegeta's irritated face during that scene. He looked like it was taking every ounce of his willpower not to go and shove the mike down Kuririn's throat, then blast his head off.

Does Yamcha singing an awful cat food TV ad jingle in the English dub count?
"In fact, the United States Alf Fanfiction Department has issued notices offering high paying jobs for more Alf fanfiction, which they believe could immediately resolve countless global issues such as world hunger."

Cat loves food, yeah yeah yeah yeah!

I doubt you could count that as a song, but you definately would want to add "Wolf Hurricane" to that list. It was sung by Toru Furuya in episode 87 of Dragonball.

Let's not forget Gohan's "Kuchibue no Kimochi" (whether you find it irritating or not) from the beginning of Movie 4. Then again, this may not count because in the actual movie, the lyrics are taken out.
BGM forever! If only more people paid attention to it... well, I intend to change that.

Yah, that's the one where Piccolo was telling him to shut up because he couldn’t take the whirling.

Well there are a few versions. There is the one on the second character songs CD-Hit Collection 8 where it's just Gohan whistling and Piccolo telling him to stop. Then there is the vocal version(that's the adorable one I just mentioned^^), on Hit Collection 6-Battle Points Unlimited. There is also another version on the Digital Dragonball World CD. Track 6 features a remix of Head-Cha-La, Zenkai Power, and Gohan's whistling song, which is faint whistling while you can hear the ocean in the background. It also goes at a slower tempo.
