Cool, I want to get that. How much did you pay for it? I think I might get it for around 50 pounds on Amazon.co.uk.

I bought it on Amazon.com, $72+$14 shipping. Now, I'm saving money to buy the DBZ one.

I'm waiting for my podcasts to update, then I'm off to the store to buy Dragon Ball: Season 5. I'm also buying the new Fist of the North Star set that came out today, but that's not relevant.

I'm glad to finish off the season sets. Now all I have left are Dragon Boxes, Z Kai, and an occasional VIZ Big... Why do I spend so much money.

EDIT: Got the Dragon Ball set. I'm about to check and see if it's as bad as everyone is saying. Also, Fist of the North Star comes out tomorrow. WTF?

Hahaha they (the blue bricks) finally got to you on the day before Dragon Ball Season 5 came out.

I recently purchased and am waiting on Dragon Ball Season 5 to come in the mail (probably tomorrow or Thursday).

I don't understand where those complaints are coming from. Season One looked pretty much like the old singles as well, and I'm pretty sure that comparisons with the Madman sets showed that even the early episodes on the set essentially looked like a (very well done) noised reduced version of the same footage (which seemed to look better for those episodes), with much better encodes.

Here is some shots from Season Four:

Also, I'm pretty sure Fist of The North Star is supposed to be out today.

Yup, nearly a month later! I'll probably order Dragon Ball Season 5 with Dragon Box 4, when they are released. As for now, these should keep me busy.

Hey! I just looked and you're right! It's just not at the store next to my apartment. I'll go to the other one and get it. Thanks for the tip.

Just picked up Season 5 of Dragonball, so all 16 bricks in the bag so to speak.

That 'complete series' thing for GT.....is that like those double sets at Walmart? Because Funimation never put those into a flyer or anything, wasnt it a Walmart explusive? So why would Funi now be advertising it?

The Orange Brick Double Packs were Walmart exclusive, but I've seen the GT Complete Series on multiple websites including FYE, and RightStuf, too. Is FUNi advertising it outside of the internet now (inserts, or trailers)?

They had an AD in the leaflet in DB season 5.

Yes, Discotek Media received rights to the series. The first box set was supposed to be released on my birthday (June 25th) but missed shipment, so they were distributed today. Supposedly they contain the remastered footage from Toei.
