A Dragon Ball/Urusei Yatsura crossover would be awesome.
Having Toshio Furukawa balance between Piccolo and Ataru would be hilarious.

My favorite character is Vegeta by far. His attitude, pride, arrogance and everything just makes him so cool to me.
As for my favorite character in the original Dragon Ball it would be Goku because he was so cute and fun loving.

Captain Ginyu, because I really like his body change technique, one of my favorite fights in the series is when he fought Krillin and Gohan , I always have chills down my spine when I watch that fight. Plus he does things with style, which I do sometimes also. Just wish they would of used him more, I believe he had potential of becoming a good guy.
Piccolo would come in 2nd. Goku in 3rd, Super Buu 4th and Android 18 would be my 5th favorite.

Just to be different: least favorite= recoome [NO its got nothing to do with the voice.] Just everyone else in the show did more or served a purpose more so than him.

Re: What's Your Favorite Character? Why?
My most favorite character is Gohan.
[BOOOOOOOOO!!!]
Oh shaddap.
Gohan is my favorite because waaaaaaaaay back when I was kid, there was this anime chatroom. I believe it started out as Pikachu chat, then it evolved into Anime chat, and finally Gamerz chat before it died. It was alive for years, from my middle school days clear past my high school years. It was a role playing chatroom where you fought or just did whatever, so character names were "case sensitive" in that there was only ONE Goku, Ryu, Terry etc. Dragon Ball names were especially rare to come by. I had made friends with the Goku of that chatroom and I was given the Gohan name. I role played Gohan so much and had an unreasonable amount of fun doing so that I look at the character & feel that rush of nostalgia.
Fun pointless fact: I was told whenever I role played Gohan or Ken, that people felt like they were actually interacting with the characters. ^_^

Goku - Main character and I usually like main characters the most. He's good hearted and he's 'dumb' at the start of DB which makes him funny. Also his hair is cool.
Honourable mentions:
Tenshinhan
Yamcha
Krillin
Chaozu
Piccolo
Vegeta
Trunks
Gohan
(basically the Z fighters)

Apart from the obvious Gokū, my favourite character is Piccolo. I say this because I feel that he has gone through the most character development in the series and is a very smart fighter.

Re: What's Your Favorite Character? Why?
Gohan has been my favorite ever since the Artificial Human arc aired on Toonami back in the day. My reason is, well, I'll just take my reason from my 300 characters thread (at the bottom of page 3):
Even from when he is in his crybaby stage and pretty much defenseless, he is definitely one of the characters that stands out most in the series. It's not just that he's the son of Goku, but he has an incredible power inside him that unleashes when he's angry, which makes him seem formidable against any foe. Heck, he even holds his own against Vegeta for a little. From the Android arc on though, he is one of the most interesting characters in the series. For one thing, when he's younger, he is very serious, something that is unorthodox for the characters in the series, but even through that seriousness, he can be easy-going, especially later on in the series.
Another thing is that he actually defeats two major villians in the series (Cell and Garlic Jr.), which is nice not to see Goku save the day for once. Along with that, he also kills Garlic Jr. (technically), and Bojack in the movies. It just shows that if Goku really did die, Earth would be in safe hands with Gohan (well, that is if he died after the early Android Arc).
Then comes the Buu arc. He becomes one of the most interesting characters in the series, Great Saiyaman, and becomes actually pretty funny. Also, he gets a kid brother, who makes for interesting storylines when Goku is still dead.
In the end, he is one of my characters characters in the series because of his personality being so unique in the series, and well, in my opinion, he's just a pretty cool guy.
_____________________________________________________________________________
In a close second would be Goku followed by Goten in a close third. I like the Son family a lot, if you couldn't tell...

Re: What's Your Favorite Character? Why?
Maybe the question should have been:Who's your favorite character, besides Goku?
Mine is Teen Gohan SSJ2. His raw unbelievable power, his anger, his ability to kick Cell's butt without even moving a muscle...
Oh. And Muten Roshi! I just love him!!

Honerable mention goes to Tien. Gotta love a good Tri-Beam [against Cell] and he actually did something in the Buu saga.
I never got why they called 12 yr old Gohan TEEN Gohan and High School age Gohan was adult Gohan.....because 'Ultimate Gohan is only a few days older than Gohan we see in high school, its not like there was a big jump there.

I did not know this "Tri-Beam" that you speak of but there's an attack that formed two hands into a shape of a triangle or a three sides, it's call "Kikoho"LeprikanGT wrote:Tri-Beam

Re: What's Your Favorite Character? Why?
I'll have to reply to this thread by dividing my favorite character in each arc. Because seriously, not many characters stay as awesome throughout all the arcs.
Search for the Dragonballs Arc:
Yamcha: He arrived as the only one yet to be able to fight Goku evenly. Although he eventually lost to him, his plans and his capsules and his sword were awesome. He was a good character, but he was unfortunately thrown into the human gutter.
21st Tenkaichi Budokai Arc:
Jackie Chun: He was so goofy, and so impluslive at times. But we finally got to see Kame Sennin's true abilities. And the whole Nam business and his song at the tournament really cracked me up.
Red Ribbon Arc:
Tao Pai Pai: An experienced martial artist who kills people with his tounge. Has a goofy side, like his line "In the frame of a campain, the price for a murder is now reduced by half". And when he finally gets an opponent that outmatches him he loses it.
22nd Tenkaichi Budokai Arc:
Kuririn: Not only did he shoot a Kamehameha for the first time without practice, he also showed that his fast thinking was a force to be reckoned with.
Piccolo Daimao Arc:
Goku: He went from a normal martial artist to a legend, who would be remembered for years to come. He fought Piccolo Daimao evenly, to take beating for saving Tenshinhan's life. His last punch was one of the most epic moments in Dragonball.
23rd Tenkaichi Budokai Arc:
Piccolo Jr.: Stronger, better, faster, stronger. It explains everything. Malicious and evil, and doesn't think twice to kill the audience. Gives a spectacular fight which I say is the best one in the entire Dragonball. And it was the only time I thought that Goku might lose.
Saiya-jin Arc:
Kuririn: Not only did he have lots of new and effective techniques up his sleeve, he fought Nappa with courage, even though he knew that their power was too different compared to eachother. Saved Gohan's live twice: once with a kick to Nappa's head, and once again with the Genki Dama. The only one to hold the Genki Dama except Goku too.
Namek Arc:
Vegeta: Sly, calculative, strategic. That's the Vegeta I think that all of us came to love. He always had a new plan in mind, and even at the brink of death he came up with a brilliant strategy to steal the Dragonballs. And he made Goku's job too, by killing off the Ginyu Force (except for the captain himself)
Android Arc:
Piccolo: Even though he wasn't a Saiya-jin, he managed to become strong enough to keep up with the Super Saiya-jins. Showed his battle cunning a lot, and him wanting to kill Dr. Gero because of that he claimed that he still had some evil inside of him was bad ass. When he merged with Kami he became the epitome of bad ass as he kicked the shit out of Cell.
Cell Arc:
Gohan: Even though not a fighter, he tried his best. The Gohan I love the most here is when he became a SSJ2 and wanted for Cell to suffer. Talk about showing your true colors.
Buu Arc:
Gotenks: Goofyness packaged in a powerful shell. This is what happens when you give kids a power that they can't understand. And it's hilarious and awesome.
