Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Because of what Nappa said ,I assume that "Prince" Vegeta can only go into USSj at the most. And Freeza's lines are awsome. Even though they're blasting the pieces I still think this Boo is planing something.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

If we weren't told so already (I'm not keeping track, really), Freeza's universe's "break-off" point was simply winning his battle on Namek. Wonder if he ever faced Super Saiyan Goku.
Have we seen any Namekians from that universe? Maybe the split was the cataclysm on Namek, it may have killed off all of them in that universe.
Was it ever explained in the manga/anime how Frieza knew of the dragonballs? If he learned of them through some unknown method before going to Namek, maybe he did the same in this universe but when he went to where Namek should be, there was no Namek/Namekians. It would be a bit too convenient, even for plot, for Frieza to just happen upon the planet at the same time as Vegeta and the Earthlings.

What's the deal with Nappa's non sequitur? I get that he wants to leave but why does he say that as a response to Raditz's comment about the lighting? Unless he's saying "super" as in "who cares, let's beat it." But if those four leave I'm going to be pissed off. They're one of my favorite groups so far.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Yeah, I agree. I want to see how strong they have actually become before they quit. I mean, Vegeta and Goku must have gotten much stronger together.TonyTheTiger wrote:What's the deal with Nappa's non sequitur? Anyone else think this page looks sub-par in comparison to the others?

He overheard Vegeta and the Earth crowd talking about it over the scouters during the Saiyan saga.verto wrote:Was it ever explained in the manga/anime how Freeza knew of the dragonballs?

Hm. Seems like they're handling the pages differently now making posting them here a problem.
What does Zangya mean by "different boxes"? I like the last panel though.

Oh, I see. It means Bojack will be torn to pieces.

Haha, I think the last panel is great.
When it comes down to it, Saiyan fathers are all the same.

I wonder how the Kaioshin are going to go about closing the universes, the last time I saw something like that was in Kingdom Hearts.

Whee, the page is fixed!
Anyhow, I was looking at the comments on #230, and I am reminded that all of the big players (Vegetto, Boo, etc.) all have their own set of weaknesses. Vegetto's being that he needs to eat a lot, lot more and he is not easily healed.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I think it's a matter of Goku getting killed by Vegeta on Earth. That gets us, best case scenario, a Namek saga where the Ginyu force kills everybody easily and Freeza has nobody to tell him how to summon Porunga.Kaboom wrote:Hmmm, true. Maybe he never had any opposition on Namek at all.JulieYBM wrote:Then how do his Ginyû still live?Kaboom wrote:I think we learned something here; Freeza' dialogue implies that he still got denied use of the Dragon Balls in his Universe. The women's dialogue is royally fucked. Zangya says "we'll bring you back in a tupperware" (meaning there won't be much left over of Bojack when he fights). This is a pun on English words; she literally uses the English word "tupperware" itself, so I have no idea WTF happened with the translation here. Meanwhile Kat's friends can't figure out how strong they are at all (could they sense ki?), with the second girl saying they're all "hallucinatingly identical." (The first says that Broly and Vegetto don't seem that much stronger than the others, not "worse")

Kat's group really looks like prostitutes on that page. It may be just me, though.
