Sorry, forgot to add the screenshots to my post.
If you can honestly debate the quality of the screen shots in terms of visuals?
I dunno, I just don't think I can argue with you.
Each to their own, I prefer BL over RG when it comes to graphics.

Burst Limit has much better effects, but the models look WAY closer to the characters I know and love in Raging Blast...though RB2 has gone against my taste in shading. I just never liked the way the models were in the Budokai series or Burst Limit, they look...I dunno, scrunched.

Absolutely, I dislike it too.
I have to say that the characters on Raging Blast look very close to the original characters in the anime and such, but I prefer the ones in Burst Limit because it doesn't look too cartoon'ish. Not saying it's bad because it's not. It's perfect for people who want the characters to look exactly like what they did in the anime.

The BIGGEST thing that jumps out to me is that Super SAiyans have no pupils[the BL pic]

Also there was no ridicously odd ammount of ki flying around Goku in that scene in the anime.

How anyone can deny that Burst Limit has the best graphics out of any Dragon Ball game ever is beyond me.

So is this OVA is going to be completely different from the original one? Like is the story going to be the same or different? Or are they still going to have those horrible looking monsters?

By definition, a monster should look horrible.

No word yet on the roster and full extent of the footage.

It is. Some people might prefer the simplistic and closer to Anime graphics of Raging Blast. I don't, however.

Yeah, it's graphical advancement. If you're mimicking an 80's/90's TV show, there's a limit to how good your product can look.
Could could almost say that Dimps.... Burst said Limit. :D

But in all seriousness, most of the arguments I hear here is "I prefer the graphics of..".
This argument stemmed from Jaetinh saying that the graphics of Burst Limit are "way better", which.. they are. Sure you can prefer whatever you like, but well.... when it comes to which is flat-out best....?
It's not really debatable, because, honestly compare those two screens.
The amount of effects that are being used, the detail in shading and the actual smaller details in the character design (such as tears in gi, beat up body, and some of his clothing reacting to him exploding in anger) in the first screen shot, compared to the flat use of cel-shading (it's basically a bright shade and a dark shade for everything with no middle ground) and squeaky-clean looking models of the second, there's just no real debate to be had (outside of "I prefer this one" of course).

Burst Limit's graphics are better. You may not like that they have pupils, or that they use so many effects, but details like this enhance the visuals of the game. You know, makes them better.

Co signed. Along with special dialog between Gogeta and Vegetto (other than just story mode).

Not that I think that's a bad idea, but before we go trying to add forms that we haven't seen before; I demand Ultimate Gohan.

That Gohan absorbion using Goku's character model does not fly well with me.

This to the tenth degree. BL looks amazing and does a very great job of giving DBZ a cinematic sort of feel.

RB looks like someone used flash and a sharpie.

I think Gogeta needs to be more fleshed out overall, sure we didnt see anything from him aside from the "Soul Punisher" but still, its called creativity. Hes just so boring to play as and his ultimate attack is too damn fast and loses the epicness that Budokai 3 gave it.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

That's really weird... I mean, Ultimate Gohan was even in Budokai 2.... why has he been getting cut in recent games?

It's so that Spike can build up a demand then when Raging Blast 4 comes out they can go, "we added Ultimate Gohan, he's one of our most anticipated characters since the first Raging Blast!!!"

Give me a break Spike.
