So you're a dubbie who's never seen the original Dragon Ball I take it?
Here's something else that will blow your mind: Goku's father, Bardock... is
not a brilliant scientist.

Also, Yamcha, Chaozu, Tenshinhan and Piccolo did not go to the next dimension.

Sure, buddy. Next your gonna say that nobody saw any parachutes from the survivors of... what? What are you talking about? Dear God, man, there weren't parachutes! That's... that's so wrong! Oh, the brutality of it all!
Uh, anyway... I realized that there's a weird similarity between Murasaki and L (the Deathnote character). They both wear bear suits in official material outside of the manga. Murasaki had a bear suit in a filler episode & L wore a bear suit in the L change the WorLd novel.

Yes they did.
VegettoEX wrote:However, it is not all that far from the truth; in the original Japanese dialogue, characters do die... but dying is considered moving on to "the next world." Unlike our portrayal, however, "death" and "the next world" are considered the same thing in the Japanese version, rather than attempting to be two completely different realms.
The next time you see Yamcha, Tenshinhan, Chiao-tzu and Piccolo all get "trapped in the next dimension" during the fight against Nappa, just remember that they have actually kicked the bucket / passed on / bought the farm / etc... and gone into the Next World.

I'm gonna assume that he hasn't seen the Ocean dub...
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Yeah, seriously, Dragonball doesn't have anywhere near that kind of continuity.

I didn't think you all would react to my little comment.
I never thought of Bardock as a brilliant scientist, i've actually only recently seen his special on youtube.
Yes, I've mostly seen the english dub. I just really liked the idea of dr. Gero being the leader of RRA. It linked DBZ to DB.

That link is still there. Gero was a
member of the Red Ribbon Army, which Goku took down. He wasn't the leader because the leader was killed.
Also, I don't know if you know or not, but Tao was not a general in the army either. He was an assassin hired by the leader.
You should check out the original Dragon Ball. It's really fun.

I just found this while checking the Dragon Box's disks:
I didn't know Reacoom's name is written as ReaCoom!

I'm not sure about bad or strong, but he sure was outrageous!

He shattered the bones of one of earth's greatest warriors with a single strike, then broke the neck of a child.
I'm pretty sure that makes him both strong and bad.

Strong Bad?

He was an outrageously strong bad type-a guy, not retarded!

Maybe he's so strong...it's bad. Or maybe he so bad, he comes full circle and winds up being strong. Or maybe he's so outrageously bad-strong, he...

Personally, I've never really understood the "ReaCoom" spelling. What's with the random capitalization of the "c" in there?

It's like he's trademark or something.

Maybe it shows that you're supposed to give emphasise on the "C" when saying his name. I don't know, just a personal guess.
