I was looking through the Cell stuff...and that's all hilarious! You should definitely do more stuff with Cell, haha

Truthfully, I am getting a bit tired of the whole "ding-a-ling" gag. I think WeeklyTubeShow needs to focus on other characters a bit, to freshen things up. Maybe some stuff with Yamcha or Tenshinhan?

I'm writing Dragon Dub Z The Series. I'll keep that in mind for those videos. This dub was actually something Remix did out of nowhere with no preparation. He had just finished summer classes and wanted to celebrate having some free time. He didn't really even have any particular moment in the show in mind when he recorded it. That is the reason I had to reuse the scene we used from Piccolo's Horse. I tried to use different clips though to help separate the two a little more. But the concept itself is definitely something that has been done many times over. If you go over the videos, he generally does Piccolo in waves. He gets tired and focuses on other characters for a while. Cell had the spotlight for a short time. Vegeta had a few dubs in a row. Then Android 16 had a few shining moments. He has expressed interest in doing Freeza, I've heard a few of his takes and I'd really like to see him expand on some of them.

Anyway, I'd like a little feedback on the editing. I went the extra mile with this latest video and it's something I plan on continuing. The frame-by-frame lip sync takes much longer so I'd like to get some responses to see if that effort is worth it. What did you think of the lip-flap? Good? Bad? Worse? I wasn't going for a TeamFourStar/LittleKoriboh style, I was trying to emulate the show by using a much lower framerate. Do you guys think this style is better or worse than the more popular series?

Your editing is great, Inna. The lip flaps were spot on.

Yeah, the editing looks great, but looking back to when you first made Tao Pays a Visit, it's not something I particularly noticed or cared about. I'm not saying that to be mean, I'm just saying that, if you do want to save time, it will come out looking nice regardless.

Still, though, if you do...it will look better :D

I still loved them. Piccolo Acts a Fool was amazing, and I love the Piccolo/Kami interactions.

There are some Piccolo/Kami interactions in Dragon Dub Z... Or should I say. Piccolo/Convicted Sex Offender Hiro Yuy interactions.

Very good work. Much better than the grossly overrated TeamFourStar.
A Dragon Ball/Urusei Yatsura crossover would be awesome.
Having Toshio Furukawa balance between Piccolo and Ataru would be hilarious.

Anyway I definitely look forward to any and all future Dragonball parodies by "Remix". Yeah his Piccolo might slowly becoming cliche but damn it's still funny. I personally enjoy Piccolo and Kami's interactions in those sketches.

Relax, I am just messing with you . . . that and I wanted to use that Futurama gif. Thank you everyone for your patience with my buffoonary.

Back on topic, I know there have been a few other voice actors on the WeeklyTubeShow DBZ Parody but it is almost a one man show with Remix. What characters doesn't he do!?

Man I was way too young the last time I saw 2001: A Space Odyssey to know what was going on. With Mr. Popo thrown into the mix, it's even stranger than anything from Stanley Kubrick's nightmares. :P I have to agree with you all, this is one of the best Weeklytubeshow spoofs.

P.S. Tell Dende how great he is. 8)

I just wanted to share this with you guys, we redesigned the WeeklyTubeShow page. It reflects all the current running projects we've got going on!
http://www.youtube.com/user/WeeklyTubeShow2

He's still doing the Dragon Ball shorts. He comes out with a new idea every now and then and records it. I'm also working on Dragon Dub Z, which we have a new page designed for that. http://www.youtube.com/user/DragonDubZTheSeries

Oh yeah, and I guess there's a new video that nobody linked yet.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_m83HaOw5fg

So, on the todo list are as follows:
Dragon Dub Z Episode 1
First of the North Star Abridged Episode 1
Lupin III Castle of Cagliostro Abridged
and random dubs whenever he feels like it

We'll probably get all this done by next year. If not, then the year after that.

That was hilarious. Are you the one who writes the scripts?

No. There are no scripts with the shorts. He gets an idea, he records, he sends it to me. The only thing that's being scripted is the series. And that's because only I am writing that. Remix doesn't do scripts. He doesn't like them. It's all improv. 8)
