I also understand it's a "Refresher" for the young generation, But in a sense they are missing out. x_x
I think the English version is great! I love it. I watch it on TV every time there's a new episode and I record it for my little brothers. To understand why the English version of Dragon Ball Z Kai is so good, you'd have to understand why the original Dragon Ball Z English dub is so bad. I agree that we are missing some scenes with Dragon Ball Z Kai, and I will miss
some of them. But I will always have my Dragon Boxes. I only watch the Dragon Boxes in Japanese with English subtitles.

It's been a while since I posted my collection. I'll give it another go since I have acquired more things since then. It's not much compared to what the other folks have posted, but its respectable, I'm sure.

An animation cel from Dragon Ball. It's Goku vs Piccolo at the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai. It also came with the original sketch which is on the reverse side.

This is the bottom half of my DVD Shelf. I've got Dragon Ball sitting snugly on the bottom next to One Piece. It consists of: Dragon Ball Movie Box, Dragon Ball Seasons 1-5, Dragon Ball Z Seasons 1-9, Dragon Ball GT Seasons 1&2, DBZ TV Specials, and DBZ movies 1-13.

This is a pretty cool little poster I picked up at a local anime shop.

Upstairs in my bedroom, I've got my secret stash. It's Dragon Box Volumes 2&3, and Dragon Ball Z Kai Blu-Ray Volume 1. I'm also storing my blank cases for my recordings of the edited TV Broadcast of Dragon Ball Z Kai. I have made cases for all the way up to episode 63. I'm making these fake DVD cases for my little brothers. They're too small to watch the English version of Dragon Ball Z Kai uncut, so I make the edited DVDs for them. They really enjoy the show and they play Dragon Ball in the back yard all the time.

Here are the covers of my fake DVD volumes, next to the official Blu-Ray release. I cut out images from the Dragon Box singles and other various pieces of artwork.
Here's my first post about the project.
Not pictured, I have: Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2 (GCN), Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 (Wii), Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit (X360), Dragon Ball Z Viz Big Volume 1, Daizenshuu 1, a poster with
Gogeta, Gotenks, Piccolo, and Gohan, and Dragon Ball Evolution on Blu-Ray. My brothers have the edited release of Dragon Ball epsiodes 1-13 on DVD and Dragon Ball Movie 3 on DVD. Also they have the fake volumes of Z Kai that I gave them.
