Chibi Broly from Budokai 3

Post by mrzisawesome » Thu Aug 12, 2010 1:37 pm

I've heard that the special edition of Budokai 3 came with a chibi broly toy, but my friend has the version and says otherwise. Anyone out there have the figure or would like to post a photo of it?

I've got it.

I don't have a still shot of it but it's in my collection video from 00:45 to 00:51. If you NEED a photo I can take one, or answer a question if you had another one.

Thanks, I now know it's real. I guess my friend lost it or something.

Also, I subscribed to you on Youtube.

Thanks.

The Collectors set/Limited Edition came with:

1. The Game and case
2. A pack of trading cards
3. The 'behind the voices' disc with interviews with the VA's on the game
4. The chibi Broy w/ translucent hair.

And all comes in that big red box with the dragonball sticking out.

There he is, on the far right. Also, enjoy some of the neat toy swag I've collected over the years, and make fun of me for owning Sagas.

I actually liked Saga's new animation that was for the intro, it was worth a rent for me.
And I see you like Mega Man X, I recommend you pick up the Zero Collection.
By the way, nice Lugia toy, I got it as well.

I can't believe this is on-topic.

Cool. I really loved that weekend I rented Sagas. Maybe I'll buy it one day.

Sagas was a fun game aside from the slow-mo blasts. It was a great start to a series that could have been AMAZING.

B3 [Collectors set] was the only game I just like the 'extras' were worth it. Aside from 15 seconds clips of the 'best fights' that came with one of the BT games no other game has come with something extra, yet for awhile there it seemed like Japan was literally GIVING away from with these games.

Mine never came with any trading cards.

And the Dragonball sticking out is just an orange sheet of plastic with a bubble sticking out, with a shiny piece of cardboard behind it. It's a very complicated little box.

It is the best Collector's edition......well, the Best release of a DBZ game yet, in terms of extras.

There WAS a little mini manga that came with it as well but I lost it.

Yeah, it's also the best DBZ game by far. So this edition must be the ultimate dream.

Trading cards? Mini-mangas? Bullshit lol.

Were these pre-order bonuses or something? I just walked into Gamestop around release and only got the game, the DVD, and the little Broly toy. :|

Yeah it was pre-order stuff. You got a fancy ass cardboard envelope with game graphics and all on it that had a pack of cards and the mini manga that was Z on one side and DB on the other.

My Boxset feels incomplete now. :x

At least it wasn't a soundtrack, or part of a soundtrack. Something like that I'd feel totally bad about missing.

Don't worry, the pre-order wasn't 'part of the release'' so unless you weren't around DBZ games at that time, you wouldn't know about it. I'm probably like the only one on the whole forum to still have that cardboard envelope.

Budokai 1 upto Tenkaichi 1 was the only time I was "around"/played DBZ games. I just wasn't online, nor lived near a real game store to know about pre-order stuffs. It's not like I got the set yesterday. :P
